What a timeless style for this truck all of these years later it still looks amazing. What a beauty. And they’ll run hundreds of thousands of miles. This time period was absolute peak GM. The consistency in paint thickness shows the quality control GM had back then.
This truck really improved with the redesigned dash for 95 and drivers airbag , then in 97’ the dash was redone again to add a passenger airbag…love them I think the 97 and 98 are the best years…really hard to find these not rusted out … 37k miles bet they are asking 35000 for it when it was 27 new back then
The steel was thicker back then , the paint was better back then , taken care of these will run forever if it’s kept out of the salt. Great truck I’m 59 I had one . I’d get the bed spray lined and call it a day. I changed the oil on mine every 3500K miles with Mobil1 . It was running like a top when I sold it at 250K miles.
@@BlackpowderBBQ I live in a salt environment during the winter. It had rust holes but was running just fine when I sold it to a farmer to use on his land as a farm truck. He couldn’t care less about the salt damaged body panels.
In 2001 I bought a 98 Z71 Silverado just like that. Forest green. Mint condition best truck I've ever owned. It's too bad safety requirements don't allow trucks like this to be built anymore.
There are bunch of them less miles and garage kept they all over FB groups for sale 20k-50k $ this is a beautiful example of one of them but their definitely not rare in this condition alot of them were collected.
@@justing6594 that is probably what they paid…dealers are scamming people even on used cars… I had this same truck but a 97’ bought used in 2003 with 66k on it for 12700… in theory this awesome used low mileage truck should me maybe 12k….40,000 is way too much. It’s a sle not a slt don’t have leather , don’t have the front bucket seats with console it’s a 3 seater in the front. Yes it’s a z71 trim instead of 4x4 on bed panels… but 40,000 is way too much
I was skeptical at first, but those dark orange gauge needles tell me all I need to know. This is one of the nicest K1500 I’ve ever seen.

Super nice, my brother who is a GM truck fan would love this one. These were the best trucks GM built.
Thank you for posting. Had a 98 when my kids were little. Pulled a camper all the time. Best memories! 350k and the drivetrain was still good.

Asking price is $39,900 😂 I’m a huge fan of this generation but it’s not worth $40k. I would say $25-$30k at best.
That is one beautiful American GMC Sierra

My Dad had a 1998 Silverado 2500HD Cheyenne…loved that truck.

Wow, this truck same year and model served me and my pops as a hunting truck for 20 years. I am going to buy this truck.
Great looking truck!
Beautiful truck!
Very nice time capsule!
Gorgeous truck… Looks EXACTLY like the one I had for 22 yrs . But I had to move on to my 22 Sierra AT4 …
Absolute beauty

I always wonder why people who have these super low mile trucks ever bought them in the first place. Would be interesting to know the backstory.
Im a toyota fan but ive always said, if i buy a gm product it would be this erra of truck! These were built to last!

Love the truck but that's not the original third brake light
I noticed the same thing. Makes you wonder if anything else has been replaced.
It is odd that they would have changed that.
looks like a smoke out cover
@@midnitemonty yeah, I guess that was the only customization the previous owner did.
How much and do you take trades
You didn't check the cab ruff. You didn't check the rocker panels
