I also keep the loops with the quilt so it doesn’t unroll, but do remove all but one of the top clamps when I shift.

could you tell me what you used to secure your frame to the table, and where to get it. mine is sliding all over when moving the quilt. thanks

I have my frame on an unfinished wood board, so the wood must be gripping the frame a bit so that it's not moving. I recommend using L shaped brackets you can find at any hardware store. Screw them in so they hold the inside edges of the frame in place so you can pull on the quilt. A moving frame would get really annoying really fast!
