It's good to see a young man thinking things through. Wise choice. I have an older one and have no regrets. I hope it serves you well and best wishes for 2021.
I love my 2019, plenty of power and goes everywhere the rest go. Can go all day on a half tank of fuel with 3 guys and gear out hunting. I'm 6'06 tall 290lbs and am ok for room. Need to stop every hour or 2 to stretch the legs out. Thanks for sharing.
The 1-2-4 drive feature was a major deciding factor for me. I will be using mine on lots of turf and my ATV which was four-wheel-drive only tore things up so bad that it was a constant annoyance. I also like the fact it’s an American company with products built in the USA.
Sweet! Seems to be perfect for your current needs. One thing I have in my side-by-side is a jump 'deer' seat that folds up to give the use of the dump when needed and fold down for sitting.. this is good for your future child #4, child #5 & child #6... just saying lol
Thanks for sharing. Actually just put a deposit down yesterday on this exact same machine. I have 3 kids (14, 5, 1) and hope it is perfect for us. I had considered the 1000, but wanted to save a little money with the 570. Hoping the slower speed and HP doesn't bother me too much. I had also considered the Viking VI, but our local dealer wasn't going to be able to get one for months and the 570 was in stock at another local dealer. Appreciate all your insight on the 570!
Thank you!!! So helpful. Great review bud. I’m going to be ordering the updated 2022 Polaris ranger SP 570 crew. Can’t decide if I want the green base model at 11,999 USD or step up to the premium that gets you power steering an a full skid plate (think those are the two main upgrades) for 14,499 US dollars. We are a family of 5 as well
Debating the 570 vs 1000. Me and my wife plus 2 kids. We dont plan on trail riding, but just woods use, sometimes going down road. Any issues going sustained higher speeds 40-50 mph? Have u tested it with 4 grown adults? Does it maintain speed/power ok with that load? Appreciate the video! Thanks you
I love the machine. They are geared on the low side, so you'll never run out of POWER, in my opinion. You can crawl anywhere with any load and it doesn't notice it. However, low gearing sacrifices speed. It isn't slow, but it'll be bursting at the seams to hit 50. Torque, not a problem!
Cool man congrats! We have five in the family also, incl 7,4,3 year olds. We settled on me Driving with the older kid on the Honda quad which we had already for a few years and plowing the driveway, and wife and the two younger ones in Their car seats strapped in the Yamaha Viking three seater which we got last yeAr. An alternative to your selection Which I don’t think you mentioned would have been the Yamaha Viking VI. Seats six for adults or two adults and four car seats will also fit, and only 2” wider than your machine with 600 lb dump also (62” vs 60”). We will probably end up with one someday if there’s a fourth coming...see your point about the whole family being together and makes trailering easier... not having to put two machines on the one trailer is a plus for quicker ride logistics.
how do you find the legroom in the drivers seat?..looked at the 500 midsize 2 seater and didnt like the gas pedal location..does yours have slide back seat for more legroom? I ended up with the 570 full size just last week..
Hey Glen! My seat doesn't slide, but I don't find it to be an issue. Actually, I have been reading that a lot of really tall riders buy the ranger just because of the increased height and leg room, over other brands.
Nice! I have a Honda Pioneer 500 that I'm selling to get a 4 seater for the family. I've always heard Polaris has issues. But not many options to keep it small and have 4 seats. Hopefully it serves you well.
Agreed, not many option to keep overall size small, and seat more than 2 adults. Here are my thoughts on 'issues': They all have them. I think the reason Polaris gets a poor name sometimes, is simply because they have SO MANY UNITS on the ground. In 2016, Polaris sold nearly 170,000 UTV's. Honda sold 35,000. CAN AM sold 26,000. Arctic Cat sold 11,000. That is an ENORMOUS difference. Even if all brands had an identical fail rate of 2%, that's 3,500 angry Polaris owners, compared to 700 angry Honda owners. That makes a MASSIVE difference when it comes to online presence in forums, Facebook pages, and etc. It's the same with trucks. Ford often is the butt of the joke for reliability, because their seems to be more Ford horror stories than other brands. Ford sells HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS more trucks than the next leading competitor each year! OF COURSE there are going to be more horror stories! More angry owners waiting to leave poor reviews. They're all awesome. They all have their quirks and issues. Buy the model and features that fit you, and forget about the rest, IMO.
Hope this isn’t too late, I have a 2020 570 full size (3 seater) have never noticed a power issue, has been used multiple times for towing stuck ATVS while out ice fishing. Also with 3 adults in the machine got a top speed of 53 mph. Often used to haul fire food and mulch as well this year and did plenty fine. While the 1000 is awesome I personally don’t see a need for it. 53 mph is pretty stupid fast as far as I’m concerned for my types of use. Most of the time it doesn’t get above 25 mph
Once the kids get older you will go back to an ATV. A true woodsman will enjoy ATV vs UTV or side by side. They are great on a woods road but not bogs or rough terrain. It will work for you now as the kids are small and not born yet. LOL Enjoy!
Just how smooth and quiet are we talking here? Haha They are already quite smooth and quiet; if you're talking road vehicle levels, you will be paying much more, I suspect. You're also going to have to add a ton of cabin dampening, so you may as well buy a small jeep or roxor.
No offence glad your happy with your sxs , But I would of went with the pioneer hands down better machine build quality and the transmisson is just better plus you get diff lock especially if ya needed 5 spots next id go yamaha 4 seater

How do you like it so far?!
@@kyle_noseworthy I have really enjoyed it so far. Been taking it out to creeks to go magnet fishing.
Sweet!
How many adults can fit?

This is exactly the information I was looking for having a family of 6. Thanks for the great info!
Glad I could help! We're now a family of five, and loving it. It's a dream machine!
Enjoy the new machine, looking forward to seeing your videos with it.
Hello. Just curious if you still own this machine and hows it holding up? Clocked many miles/hours? Looking at getting one for the family

Haha! Thanks for the tip, Elwin!!
The skid plate is weak and will let small 1" limbs bust through. Caution, seen serious injury from a limb busting through the front and back floors.
How does it go for power when fully loaded? 4 adults and gear on the back? Does it struggle or is it somewhat unaffected?
Where did you get the doors
They're the OEM Polaris doors!
Awesome buddy enjoy

I forgot to ask how fast does it top out at for the strait away runs on the trails, 45-50 mph??
How awesome. I also hope to get one like that down the road.
Is it heated? Great video thanks!
Not yet! Hoping to have a heater install within the next year. The accessories are all so pricey!
@@kyle_noseworthy Thanks!

You are correct. It’s the only 60 inch double bench unfortunately.

85-90 km/h

When a company develops a smooth/quiet engine, I might consider a side-by-side.
