It is also fitting that one of the biggest hits of SB19 is Gento, a word play on the Filipino word for "Like This" (Ganito --> Gento) and the Filipino word for GOLD: Ginto, which in Latin, is Aurum. 💙

This episode always breaks my 💔. And I agree with you it should have been about their music and talents have been highlighted with the presscon but instead they humiliated them. Actually I love and support SB19 💙 not just because they are equally talented but also how they are as a person. Despite the attack they got from the interview they stay professional. And until now they stay the same. They always respond with kindness.And for that they are being blessed more. Look how many awards, concerts Solo or groups they have right now. This episode made me an A’Tin & a berry 🍓 instantly. 🥰🥰🥰 i was (still am) so protective of Stell (& the rest of the Mahalima). The next thing I knew, I was already so deep in their rabbit hole and had sleepless nights scouring the internet to find anything related to them.
Had journalism training/lessons in the past too, and indeed - those line of questioning is a shame to the journalism community. 😡 Honestly, i havent watched that interview because it’s so heartbreaking to see these boys being bullied for the world to see. 🥹😭😭

As painful as it is to watch this freaking press con, this was the moment I became a solidified A'TIN because I was impressed with how SB19 answered with respect and intelligence; I was more impressed to witness their talent! Filipino entertainment reporters are equal to those gossipers you find in the water cooler or the street corner; most of them are unprofessional, unethical, and uneducated. They only became so-called showbiz reporters because they ingratiate themselves to a celebrity's circle or worm their way into a TV network, etc. In short they suck LOL
they did handle that SO well!

The press conference was attended by a lot of gay journalists (who probably hate themselves) and so when they see straight people who are doing something special, they take their personal frustrations on those people. 1 or 2 of those journalists who were extremely rude actually died already so wherever he is, he did not witness the success that SB19 brought to themselves and to the P-Pop industry.
P.S. Just learned something new about my crush, so she is Latina, huh. 🥰 No wonder why she is Spicy! 😘

I watched almost the whole interview and that wasn’t the only infuriating thing in the interview. Some of the “reporters” were very condescending and insulting. Be glad you did not watch the whole thing.
