I believe I have a few spiritual gifts, I'm young in my journey and I can't wait for god to strengthen me further, so that I can extend myself fearlessly to others.
LORD strengthen me with Spiritual Gifts .Lord sometimes there is no one who can share your Rhema word to me , prophesy to me , giving me a word of knowledge and words wisdom in times of trouble band desperate situation. I don't want others People to suffer like this . I want to be your voice in their life to strengthen their faith . Thank you Jesus.
Being a Christian is all about following Jesus and doing what He wants us to do for Him, not necessarily what we want to do for Him. Loving and Following Him is what the Jesus Movement was all about. See the Jesus Movement web site: jesus-movement.org/
The first trick of Satan in the Garden. Change the meaning of the word of God to steal away the gifts of God are often imparted through the gifts of God in his servants to His servants under the power of the Holy Spirit. Listen interpret scripture with scripture. Hebrews 6:2 (KJV) Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. Acts 8:18 (KJV) And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 1 Timothy 4:14 (KJV) Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
9:03--- YOU CAN'T TEACH PPL TO WALK IN GRACE! THEY HAVE TO SURRENDERED TO GRACE! ITS NOT SOMETHING YOU LEARN, ITS CHRIST IN US! THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH CESSATIONISTS! YOU'RE TRYING TO ADD THE WORK OF GRACE TO A DEAD MINDSET.
God bless this man who is preaching. But he clearly is preaching a non Pentecostal message and missing the whole point. The Bible means exactly what it says. I come to impart spiritual gifts. That means Paul had a gift to give so they could do the work of the ministry. It was an apostolic thing that existed then as well as now. Paul is talking about the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit not some random peculiar thing to you. We're talkin healing words of knowledge prophecy, etc these are the gifts that become evident when signs and wonders follow you as a Christian as the Bible says they should . If people don't believe in Pentecost they shouldn't be preaching about it.
My biggest problem with the Charismatic movement is in evaluation of the "fruits" of its practice. "Pragmatically", this could put me outside "scripture alone" insistence; but, I don't see any good fruits with modern day "Pentecostal" practice - the gifts they typically emphasize. I find the whole of the Charismatic movement an embarrassment in the proclamation of the gospel. It does seem as "strange fire", cultic hysteria, subjective teaching and practice of deluded leadership to an easily deluded mass. I am depressed and sickened by the whole of it. Finally, let me say I speak as one who was a minister in the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world for six years. I was inundated with Pentecostal teaching and practice for over twelve years. One of the saddest days of my life was when I prayed that I could not travel that path anymore. I knew the scorn I would receive from family and friends as I could no longer support that teaching and practice.I've been meditating on this subject now for years. It has been a subject of prayer many times. Lately, I've thought that the whole of charismatic gifts can be one of two things. Either it is a practice that can only be appreciated in a deeply, spiritually, mature church (which is foreign to modernity); or, it is similar to our understanding of "baptism for the dead". We know little of what the reference represented or how/why/when it was practiced. We are all left speculating about which what we know little, if anything. I am left evaluating the "fruits" of the expression. I find it extremely wanting. Can't you see that many differing opinions are "backed by scripture"? Sometimes, on some subjects, one just has to admit (no one seems to know for sure) they're just ranting. People back up the ridiculous with scripture. I see charismatics in this grouping. We can see the delusion of others but not our own when it comes to dogma. Surely you recognize the tremendous capacity for delusion among the masses and even ourselves. Looking at scripture with a bit of common sense will never hurt anyone. Truth does not fly in the face of sensibility. And, I believe fully that "truth" works. Its fruit is good and respectable. It has all the properties of a healthy, mature Christian life.
Robert Macauley My brother read Romans 14:1-4 and rest your mind. Are we to focus on what another brother or group of brothers is eating in terms of their theological meat if the teachings cannot be proven wrong outside of personal opinion? Let's not allow division to tear us down as Christians but unite in the fact that Jesus Christ died for us and atoned us of sin, and He is the ultimate judge to the end. Let's not dispute over doubtful things but instead let's be joyous about what we KNOW is the truth. I pray for love amongst all brothers and sisters regardless of denomination, and a lessening of friction about doubtful matters. Peace and blessings be with you now and forever.
Read "On the Cessation of the Charismata:..." by John Mark Ruthven. It quite an eye-opener on cessationists' propaganda. You might also consider reading "2000 Years of Charismatic Christianity" by Eddie L. Hyatt. The book shows how cessationists have edited history to conform to their thesis.
The gift of antlers 😊❤

He loves his book that he wrote more than the inspiring word of truth.

You never brought up 1 Corinthians 12-14
this gotta be a very old message because John sounds different....

Robert Macauley Are you connected right now with a home church?

Robert Macauley, you are definitely strange fire follower! All you group do is to mock people ! Who are you to play God ! Does God need your defence ?
I have seen a great deal of good fruit from the Charismatics and Pentecostals.
Don't forget the embarrassment of Ashley-Madison.

I don't think this man is Pastor John
Meyiba Longkumer if you’ve listened enough to him you will know it is. Must be much younger:-)
