Joshlin Smith: Mother's possible involvement complicates case

- The accused have appeared in the Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court in connection with the disappearance of Joslin Smith. It has been three months now since Joshlin vanished from her home in the Middelpos informal settlement in Saldanha. Legal expert Ian Allis and Teddy Bear Clinic director Dr Shaheda Omar weigh in.

Stop postponing the case and make them talk, this should have been top priority

When I saw the house that Joshlin Smith was growing up in, I thought of how socio-economic conditions contributed to this crime.
This case is heartbreaking, mother seems to b very happy in prison, full of smiles hair do , n much more the quicker she is arrested SA will find peace ,ever mother is crying 4 Joslin yet the the mother as a dnt cre attatude..
I just hope the mother can just say were her poor kid is this is very sad and we can't predict that the child is nomore very wrong we must hope for a miracle
This woman should be forced to have her tubes tied she does not deserve to bring one more innocent child into this world. There was a friend of hers who wanted to bring up Joshlin and loved her. Our Courts are taking TOO LONG for heavens sake get this into Court and find out if we can unravel this and try to save Joshlin. There are many people who will go miles and miles to find her PLEASE PLEASE get off your behinds and get the information from those in custody. This child must be living a nightmre if she was trafficked. My heart shattered followig this case it is still shattered but now I am getting real angry beyond angry
If the mother knows the mother MUST TALK and serve punishment!

The court is not giving her a chance to talk! They don't realize that time is of the most importance because they just postponing this case by months at a time! We will never find this child if we don't ask the suspects to talk! Appearing in court does not help anything! With all this time lost I think the mother honestly does not know where her child is right now! She probably knew where the child was when she got arrested, but she has been locked up for a long time now, with no contact out there so NOW she probably has no idea where the child is! I blame the court and how slow they handling this case!

So sad Mom and boyfriend smiling no remorse. Feel for Joslin if she is still alive. The fears, tears missing her family and friends. Must be a living hell, for a six year old.y heart breaks for her. So much evil in this world. 😞😭
Why has it taken the police so long?? Happens to so many children. Rules need to change to protect our children.
As mothers we are not perfect...i always try and stand back and think what would i have done ......but this is just .... can't i cannot wrap my head around this !!! It is wrong , heartless....u cannot have a soul ....if you do this to any child....your own ....Blows my mind 🥹
