Zach is a straight up prodigy and auteur. The Vertigo series is better than any other narrative VR game, including Alyx in my humble opinion. Absolutely cannot wait to see what he does next.
Comparing Vertigo 2 with Alyx lol you're just kidding, Vertigo is a good game but better than Alyx I think it's difficult, but everyone has their own taste and I respect yours.
Zach and his creativity that resulted in these awesome games should be talked about more, Vertigo 2, Half Life Alyx and Beat Saber are the games I show to people that want to try VR and what it can be, a friend got a Valve Index mainly just to keep playing Vertigo 2 Can't wait to see his future projects and contributions in other things
Excellent interview. You guys should consider using actual cameras because looking at these avatars for a long time is gruelling. And it would be nice to see humans, particularly when it's an interview with an important person like Zach.
I also have a follow up question, I was given a Digital key on PSVr2 for review but also purchased the signed physical collectors edition for my physical collection, my query is I noticed that the digital and physical versions are 2 entirely different builds who's save files are separated for some reason? I've never seen that issue happen before so just wondering what the story was behind that happening? curiosities sake lol
Hey there, new to this chan, fan of Vertigo 2 and LONG time PSVR content creator/game reviewer on YT, I have a Question?? Can we possibly get a DLC to Vertigo 2 that adds Vertigo 1 to it?? paid or free i know a LOT of ppl are wanting to play the original on PSVR2..is that something you can potentially do or willing to entertain?
Great interview, Love Zach and his excellent work! @UploadVR guys. I will always support your work. You do a great job. One request - for these videos please find something else to have in the background besides a green screen look. You're in VR, take advantage of it! That's all. I'm sure there's droves of horizon folks that would be happy to build stuff for you. Make a contest of out it or something! Love Rob
I see where he’s coming from lmao, I can hardly bring myself to play flatscreen games atp, having to set up my headset every time I wanna boot up a game is really dreadful
the environments are pretty large and detailed, it’d take a LOT of optimization for it to even run on quest, and considering a new DLC was just announced, it’s probably reasonable to assume that’s off the table
@fattywhale-y4n I understand that it'd need a lot of optimization but i was referring to his previous comments about refusing to support Meta in any form even if the hardware could handle Vertigo....that's whatl I'm wondering if he changed his about.

So true
Wouldn't say better, but on par

This is the type of behavior I like to see on the internet! Cheers!
Vertigo 2 is one of the best games I have ever experienced.
I absolutely loved Vertigo 2! One of my favorite Vr games.
Please Vertigo remastered on psvr2!

Zach is a unit of a developer. It's so damn impressive what he can acomplish.
Thank you for vertigo 2 it was awesome!!! First single player I’ve enjoyed in a long time 👌🏻

Very polite, and very well made.
No complaints, just a good interview
22:29 that's a great question espically knowing how gaming has grown with the internet
Vertigo 2 is probably my favorite VR game of all time ❤️

Great game Zack! Love your refreshing take on AI.
Awesome Story! I’m tryna be the Next Zach! 🦾
Great dev and great games
No PSVR2 questions…well I guess I should have expected that.
SO EXITED!!!
"I mostly play pancake games."

Let's hope he doesn't learn from Valve and doesn't count to 3
I hope he changed his mind about porting the Vertigo games to standalone Quest.
nah fuck them mobile processors

so PCVR is dead :(
I dunno, Q3 with PCVR via wireless VD is dope
very much alive, vertigo 2: into the aether is dropping march 30th of 2025
I play with a wire with a cable management system on a quest 3. It's just smoother and less latency. I would build your pc and not buy a pre-made one.
