@@2peterpan8 si.. Es cierto.. El arbitro en la final lo vi muy parcializado al lado de los europeos.. Y ese penal.. (Yo no lo vi como tal) lamentablemente fue decisivo para una Argentina que estubo disminuida por las ausencias como dices de caniggia.. Y Maradona también (físicamente).. Pero bueno.. Ahora ya son tricampeones.. Bien por ellos.. Saludos

Did anyone noticed some striking similarities between 1970 and 1986 World Cup? I must tell some similarities and they are
1. The winner of both these World Cups were placed in the same group with the previous World Cup winner/Defending champion. Also both the defending champions defeated West Germany in the previous final.
2. In both these World Cups the eventual winner tops their group stage and the defending champion comes second in the group stage.
3. In both these World Cups the defending champions are dethroned by the third place holders in their first knockout game.
4. In both these World Cups the third place holders were defeated by the runner-ups of the World Cup in the semi final.
5. In both these World Cups the runner up defeats the host Mexico in the Quarter Final.
6. Both these World Cups were ultimately won the two best South American players of the 20th century Pele and Maradona. Both were the player of the tournament.
8. In short the 1970 World Cup is same for Pele as that of 1986 World Cup for Maradona.
9. Brazil in 1970 is Argentina in 1986
10. Italy in 1970 is West Germany in 1986
