Joao & Cristiana.. these videos are such an inspiration and for sure will be my guide for my future trip to Turkey. Wish there are more contents of Istanbul hidden gems and places & things that only locals knew. Also please please highlight on the Istanbul public transport tips and tricks. -Greetings from Malaysia-
Thanks so much... We are mostly walking around to get to know the city we are staying in Sultanahmet and that’s where most of the points of interest are located so we don’t need to use public transportation a lot and tbh it’s something we want to avoid during this time of course take buses and tams but not as much as we would probably take if the virus wasn’t around. Public transportation is very easy to use and it works very good taking you to every corner of the city, we bought a Istanbul card that works for all public transports and the trips are cheap, we recommend for you this app we found where you can plan your trip it has public transportation from all around the world 😉 - Trafi
Yes, the Turkish lira value decreased so much recently that’s probably why we thought everything here was going to be more expensive because probably it was 🙃🙃

Hi! Joao & Kristiana, enjoyed watching your street food vlog in Istanbul .Don't forget to try Ottoman Royal cuisine too if you have the time. The Turkish big breakfast is also highly recommended as the spread is a feast to the eyes and differs from the rest of Europe. Its better to ask the locals for good places as they know their streets better.
For now most of the restaurants are closed so it’s difficult to find proper food from the Ottoman Empire, there was a very good restaurant that we wanted to try but it’s closed and most of the ones that are open it’s only available for takeaway so we love the experience of dining in with the atmosphere but I’m sure things will get better and we’ll still get the chance to do it before leaving Turkey 😁😁

The pizzas and the sandwiches look yummy and the price not expensive at all, considering the very huge portion (don't think I will be able to finish eating one piece). Turkish cuisine looks facinating, please go ahead with the Part 2. 👍👍👍

@X-men because it’s winter here and it’s cold, we rather have a hot drink with 13C° than an ice tea 🥶🥶🥶
