I'm sure it has to do with him being past his physical prime while in wwe. He's done great rekindling that fire he previous had in aew, however his wwe run did not have insane expectations from many given his age.

There could be a wrestler with the mat skills of Bret Hart, the high flying of Rey Mysterio, the mic skills of Rock and Austin and the muscles of Ultimate Warrior (except naturally) who is 100% dedicated and loyal. Vince could be given that guy and he would still bury the hell out of him (usually with terrible comedy skits)

One of the big differences between WWE and WCW is that WCW would bring in stars from the WWE and immediately try to put them over by beating WCW stars. WWE would bring in WCW stars and use them to get their existing talent over.

So Ricky Steamboat and Scott Hall make it ahead of the likes of Harley Race, Sandman, Gail Kim and Sting? Steamboat and Hall (as Razor Ramon) had great "WWE Runs" so counting return spells is pretty spurious reasoning because if those are considered valid for a spot on the list then Ultimate Warrior is ahead of both by a country mile.
I mean Gail Kim had two awful runs with the WWE so, again, would be more worthy of a spot over Steamboat and Hall as she fits all the apparent criteria...

WWF in 1993 was pretty good for both Steiners after all they won the Tag Team title twice sadly it all fell apart after they lost the bels to the Quebecers in that ridiculous Province De Quebec rules match . Sadly Scott didn't do too well in his second run either .

Havent watched the video yet but I'm sure this list is gonna have a lot of former WCW stars on it especially DDP....that was clearly a burial, he was made to look weak even got pinned by takers wife, lost every match to him and kane. Come on now a former champ and a man that was getting pops, one of the most over wrestlers between 97-2000 treated like that was terrible but hey the whole invasion storyline was terrible anyway......I dnt get why scott hall on here let's face it the nwo definitely was about to run rough shot in wwe like they did in wcw plus hogan face turn ended the nwo storyline

Had Ricky not taken time off, I really feel he would have held Honky Tonk man's longest IC title reign and at least a single run as the WWE champion .My dad is half asian and was a big steamboat fan due to sharing the same roots, said that WWE's reluctance of having an East asian or japanese descended wrestler as the wwe champion is tracable from Steamboat rejecting them

Sabu wasn't main event material and as for Scott steiner at one point yes he was main event material but not really when he came back to wwe and they pushed him way to fast in wwe giving him that main event spot repeatedly and immediately after joining wwe they should of atleast given his character more time to build

Everyone complaining about these set of wcw wrestlers underutilized in wwe, but they tend to forget that goldberg, ric flair, rey mysterio, eddie Guerrero, jericho, benoit, booker t, etc were also wcw guys and not vince mcmahon creation yet were successful in wwe..yet to some extent i agree wwe did wrong with guys like ddp, sting, ultimo but completely going with wwe burying wcw guys is bogus, vince underutilises his wwe guys also..
