Charge Final Impact actually he said on the s7 The Speakers crapped out. the rating is foe 30 minutes In up to 30 minutes
Owned Xperia Active and Xperia Z3 compact (both waterproof). Yes, it will sound like it's broken, but I think it's cuased by thin "rubber" (looks like that to me, though) that protect the speaker from the water. That membrane is also the reason why the speaker is not so loud, I guess.
How to fix it? Take a paper towel, make one of its end pointy and put it inside the speaker holes. It dries the speaker faster with that way than just air dry it.

Sony has just a single drawback,i.e its lower RAM which hampers multitasking! Well, it is the best Waterproof phone available in the market yet! Though some auto-touching is generally ignored as Jojo did there up in the vdo while using it underwater !

+Marcos Antonio my phone is xperia m4 aqua.. and i test it under the sea in a couple of minutes and damn.. its totally waterproof.. and you can make selfies and videos under water till your last breath..

look again mate, i believe there are some waterproof testing videos for xz here on UA-cam. In those, they even filmed in the pool, in the lake or even sea. it does the job well and beautifully ;) hope you'll love it
spencersaures rex I'm not a Sony hater.. I'm Sony all the way.. I even have a XZ, but waterproof as far as I'm concerned is that you're able to operate the phone under water(and I don't mean start recording a video outside the water and go for swim after the recording starts). Like it wouldn't affect the internal parts even if you press buttons and so on..
Water resistant means like its OK even if you dunk it in water. even after the dunk in water, the phone would still work..
This is what I know as far as I'm concerned.. And I think Sony is water RESISTANT.. I just need to clarify that 100% cos hey, better safe than sorry yh 😃

Waterproof = water is not a problem at all, do whatever you want.
Water resistant = water COULD be a problem at some point, so always be careful

What you said about that Sony makes better sensors for other manufacturers that is true, the One Plus 3 has a better Sensor than the XZ and it uses a sensor from Sony...
I'm guessing Sony is just slower in developing their phones..
fyi they dont advertise it as being "fully waterproof" they rate them with IP68 (Samsung S7) IP67 (Iphone 7) with the time and depth rating
The S7 speaker survives water immersions perfectly fine. You just need to make sure all water is dried off.

You should do more research before you test, like the term 'sticky out lense' not correct term, and the Sony is water resistant not proof, exactly like its siblings, they didn't break because there was no pressure, never actually take it deep in water the pressure will kill it.
