Before we directly jump into reasons - lets understand a Scam
Suppose -
Product “A” launched and selling on Flipkart and Amazon for ₹20K
Scam 1 Strategy-
Same product “A” on Brand's Official Website for ₹18K - Exclusive launch offer for 2days - Scam 1
Scam 2 Strategy-
Product “A” on Brand's Official Website For 20K + 5K worth gadget or gift vouchers to redeem.
Now you will think, wow we are getting it for 15K but u will regret it after buying.
Scam 2 strategy is mostly adopted by Samsung on their official website.
Now you will say why I am calling it a scam -
If you have been trapped in the scam - then getting a replacement or refund will become a comprehensive task for you…
Reasons -
1. Worst Customer care - Their contact numbers not reachable
You have ordered and you got a wrong product.
Most brands have this policy -
“They will provide a refund or replacement only if once requested within one day of receipt of your order”
Now if the customer care is not reachable then how will you able to ask for refund or replacement.
1. If you have crossed level one then see this coming -
Returning and inspection -
1. Reverse pickup - Send them photo of your product - after 2-3 days they will revert back to you.. whether they will accept your return or not.
2. Some brands have very bad policy that - you need to visit service centre for that.
My Samsung experience - Galaxy Watch 4
You bought a new product and instead of using it you are facing all these.
This can take upto month too.
Why would i use a defective product after getting it fixed.
It's not likely service centre is around or within 4kms from your area.
Flipkart policy -
Open box delivery then you need to visit service centre.
Now I think you must be understanding all those strategies used by brands.
1. Biggest reason - No Refunds
Suppose you bought a product from a certain brand and now you get to know - you dont like the brand itself and you want to buy something else.
But they dont have any refund policy - You are trapped.
There are some exceptions -
For example Apple -
If you return the original product within 14days then they will refund the amount.
So Why to Choose eCommerce giants -
1. Good customer support -
At least in chat only
1. Hassle free pickup -
They have their own logistics and partners
1. Refund and return policy -
Atleast you have options to look for
1. *Offers,discounts,cashbacks*
I know we are facing issues with eCommerce sellers aswell but atleast can buy little safer with these platforms.
But from Amazon fullfilled and Flipkart assured.
If you are assured about the product that haan i will keep it at any cost then buy it from official website.

Absolutely needed this video because I have ordered a Casio watch and i want to cancel it but it says the item cannot be cancelled i mean we can't even cancel it if we want worst service😒
My friend ordered OnePlus buds from their official website as they were selling it for 1k cheaper than Amazon. First it took many days to deliver it, on opening the package he found that the noise cancellation wasn't working at all. He called customer care for replacing the product but they asked him to visit nearest service center ( which opens at 10am and closes at 7pm also closed on Sundays ). They kept the product with them and again took 10-15 working days to REPAIR it- yes they didn't even replace the whole thing. Overall it took 20-25 working days for them to provide a properly working device !
I encountered a same issue(or scam). My father unknowingly ordered a fake vivo charge and the quality was very poor and it's ok but the thing is didn't work from the very first try. Then I applied for refund. They took the product and said it takes about a week for money to get transferred to bank account. After 9 days I again contacted them and they said it got transferred to someone else Sharing the same name as my father. I mean how could it happen when I shared them accurate bank details. Because it was a cheap product I did not looked more into it and suggested my father to always ask me or my elder brother incase if he wants to order something. I did think it as a scam but after watching this video I think I've been scammed. Thanks for the video because I always thought that buying from the original website would be good because the product would be of good quality.

Aahhh....!! I am facing it right now.
Since Flipkart and Amazon is not deliverable to my area so I bought Noise Evolve 3 in their official website and received death or unable to switch on product. I returned, reached their warehouse after 10days and they screened for 12days, and now they want new address to send replacement which I don't have. Hope they refund.

I bought samsung 25w adapter from their official website. Within 4 days, the product stopped working. I went to 6 service centres in Delhi but none of them had replacement units(although they were selling the same on display shelf). Called their service centre and processed a return. It's been 11 days and I am still waiting for them to pickup my faulty product and give my money back

@@RohitRajGupta but Flipkart also provides 7 days service centre replacement for samsung smartwatches. So what difference does it make in your case? Kyuki in the end aapko dono se purchase krne ke baad service centre hi jana padega

I purchased Galaxy Watch 4 from samsung's official website and i was facing some issues with it's step counter so i visited their service centre after around 10 days of purchasing it, they kept the watch with them for 1 day for inspection purpose and gave it back to me stating that they have tweaked it's software a bit and it should work fine from now but again from the very next day i started facing same issues again so i visited their service centre again and they gave me a DOA (Dead on Arrival) against that watch, then i called samsung's customer care following which i received a mail to which i had to reply with the scanned copy of that DOA and my product was picked up from my doorstep and i received a full refund within few days.
So contrary to this video, my experience with samsung's customer care was very good!
Idk about other things but i ordered samsung M12 from samsung website. Got it delivered in 3 days . And everything was good.
