@@AmyRomeu Oh I know I will! Thanks again.
Loving your event and the craft you showed at Makerfest. Looking forward to making the snowflakes and candy canes. I was able to download the svg for the snowflakes, but for #153 in the resource library it says coming soon. Thank you for all you do :)
Hi, Marion! The files are in the library, I promise! Your browser isn't showing you the current version of the library page. You may need to refresh the library page, clear your device's cache, or try viewing the library from another device or browser. These were so cute and somewhat easy to make. Although I messed up on my first pair cuz I made the leather too small. I do notice though after you take the leather off the purple mat, it makes the leather sticky. Is there a trick to getting that sticky off the leather without ruining it?
Thanks so much for all your fun earring videos. I want to make them all ;-)
Hi, Doreen! Thank you for your comment! I'm so glad you liked making these earrings. I haven't experienced sticky leather after cutting - could there be some residue of some kind on your purple mat? One trick you can try though is you can place clear transfer tape sticky side up on your purple mat first, before you put down the faux leather. The faux leather will stick to the sticky transfer tape, and nothing from the mat will touch the faux leather itself. You can tape down and cut the mat as usual, then just peel away the transfer tape when you're finished cutting. Let me know if you try that tip!
Love these!
I like my earrings to be a little bit smaller. What’s the smallest size I can make them that will be easy to cut out?
Thank you!
Hi, Becky! I think you could make the candy canes smaller easily, but I don't think the Santas will be easy to weed if you make them any smaller!
Did I miss it being said in the video that you are mirroring or not mirroring the htv? Thank you!
Hi, Deanna! As a general rule, yes, you should mirror the HTV and faux leather mats since they are cutting face down. But in this particular project it isn't necessary since my design features two earring shapes that are mirror images of each other already. That may not make sense when you read it, but if you cut the project without mirroring, you would see what I mean. :)
Adorable! What are the dimensions of the earrings? Thanks.
Hi, Heather! Both of these earring shapes are 2 inches tall (not including the hooks or jump rings). You can size the candy cane down easily. The Santa face will be hard to weed if it gets any smaller, though. :) Thanks for your comment!
@@AmyRomeu Thank you :)
@@heathergetson5349 My pleasure!
I am having trouble finding the Santa earrings file. Help!
Hi, Linda! Thanks for your comment. The files are in my library, I promise. The issue is your browser is not showing you the latest version of the library page. :) To fix this, please try refreshing/reloading the browser window a few times, clearing your cache, or visit the library from a different device or browser. (If you've tried these things and still need assistance, send an email to hello@amyromeu.com so I can help.)
