I love these!
Thank you so much, Jonelle!
Gorgeous! 💋👌
Thanks, Kerry! I 'm glad you like this project!
These are so adorable! Can't wait to give them a try! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like them!
I love your earings. I made the turkeys for Thanksgiving. Changed up colors a bit to what I had in leather.
Thanks for your comment, Christine! I'm glad you made the turkeys. That was a great project to just use whatever browns you already had on hand. :)
I tried this with hotfix stones on faux leather and all it did was melt the faux leather around the crystals. When I let it cool and picked it up, the crystal just fell off. I picked up the crystal and it didn't even look like the glue on the back had melted. SO frustrating! I didn't want to use messy glue, but going back to that since there's such a difference in the faux leathers and you can't tell what you got til it's ruined. :(
Hi, Angela! Sorry to hear you had some struggles with this technique! Sounds like gluing might be a easier option for you.
Love your step by step videos; super cute earrings, I love how festive you are and make some for like each season.
Is there a reason as to why you need to have the image in a specific place before you cut it on the mat? I hope this makes sense
Love your nails too!
Instead of putting a full sheet of material on her mat she is using pieces of different material to cut one time. And since it's similar she was saying the cut setting is the same too.
Hi, Deanna! I'm just making sure I'm placing the material on the mat in the same location the mat preview showed me the shapes would cut. Is that what you are asking? Thanks for your question!
@@AmyRomeu ohh I see, but if you would place it anywhere else does it matter?
I will be getting getting my first Cricut this weekend and I am a little confused about the type of vinyl to get. What is the difference between HTV and iron on vinyl? Thank you!
Hi, Nancy! Hooray on getting your first Cricut! I'm excited for you!
That's a great question. HTV, Iron On Vinyl, and Heat Transfer Vinyl all mean the same thing, the terms are interchangeable. It is all vinyl that is applied with heat (as opposed to permanent vinyl, which has adhesive on the back and sticks like a sticker would). I hope that helps!
Thanks for your comment and your question. I can't wait to see what you create!
I'm having trouble with the hotfix melting the faux shimmer leather. I'm using the proper tip for the rhinestone size, but its still melting. Any suggestions?
Hi, Pat! Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry you are having trouble? Have you tried less time? Also have you tried a different type of faux leather? The shimmer could have a coating or treatment that is more pressure sensitive. Another option is to glue the rhinestones down instead of applying them with heat. Let me know what ends up working best for you!
I'm having trouble with the color sync. I've tried to follow precisely what you do and even tried different ways. Group, ungroup, flatten unflatten, and more, to no avail.
Hmmm. If you'd like, please email me a screenshot of what your layers panel looks like when you've selected Color Sync to hello@amyromeu.com so I can take a look!
What size jump rings do you use? I clicked on your link which led to the 6 mm but they are really big.
Hi, Karen! I use 6mm jump rings. Sometimes sellers add more than one size to the listing, or their available sizes change. But 6mm is what I use. Thanks for your question!
@@AmyRomeu thank you!
@@AmyRomeu had hubby size them for me and they sent 10mm instead of the 6mm 😓
