Hello, Being an Arizonian, I like your turquoise outcome best with polymer clay. I've recently watched a few other non vocal tutorials and yours make sense. Plastic to shape it on and using black pastel dust is awesome. I'll try this today and thank you. Kimberley.
Thank you very much Kimberley for your feedback... Glad you liked it. I am excited for the best result of your piece too.. 🙂 thank you for considering it. Happy crafting!
These are absolutely gorgeous!! I am SO glad I found your channel! I am trying to find the supplies mentioned in the video to try and make them but I am unsure of a few things. 1.) The silver dust. Is it silver metallic glitter you are using ??? I have looked online quite a bit for "silver dust" and most searches bring up silver glitter, not silver dust. And the only"silver dust" item I have found looks grayish in color, is made from real silver, and it actually looks like dust, not flecks of sparkly glitter like in the video. Please clarify and, if you can, name the specific product so that I can search for it online 2.) Is the black chalk pastel stick a hard chalk pastel or a soft chalk pastel? When you scrape it off in the video, it looks like the pastel is a hard piece of chalk. 3.) Is the clay color you are using a real turquoise colored clay or do you make your own color by mixing blue and green clay? Sorry for this long comment but really appreciate your help!!
hello.... to answer your question: 1. it is an ordinary glitter dust (you are right, the metallic one) 2. it is the hard one.... but if you have the soft one with the same result, that is just fine 3. it is an original turquoise colored clay, but if you want to create your own... you can. mixture would be blue, green and white. 🙂
