I haven't played this game in many years due to how it looks on bigger monitors and the fps drops I kept getting. Still enjoy your videos a lot. Very well made and a nice pacing, very chill to watch.
Cool build! I just leveled to 30 on my kicksin and glad to see that crecent moon is viable. I recently made one for my shock paladin, it clears surprisingly well.
As an amulet, I'd suggest the Rising Sun. In Travincal, you are going to be practically immortal, also helps a lot in UT. And instead of placing 20 points into shadow, you could've considered maxing dragon tail which provides significant fire damage in radius. Shadow is used as the meat shield basically. Mind blast can also be useful against large groups of monsters, especially combined with Cloak of shadows. The best weapon for such assassin is Stormlash, because of static field, although it's not completely budget ofc. On the other side, it gives you CB, unlike Crescent Moon
Yea, Stormlash is one of the top 10 Rarest items in the game so that's why I didn't include it in a budget build. I love the weapon tho. I have some newer kicker runs on my channel where I use that very weapon. Some items I use on this guide are just random things that I put on to show that gg item in that slot ain't necessary. Such as the amulet, ring and the belt.
Dragon Tail does zero damage against physical immunes. Rather, it does zero damage if the target you kick is physically immune. The AoE fire damage is based on the physical damage done so if the physical damage is zero, the fire damage is zero, too. But otherwise, yes, the knockback as well as the damage can be good. A Dragon Talon/Death Sentry kicker doesn’t really need it, though.
Nice build. Good points also with the pros and cons. My kicksin has max block and she doesnt seem to have any trouble against groups of monsters since I can use mind blast.
@@GP-qb9hi I always found kicksin a little easier to play than the average trapsin actually. But I've played kicksin a lot over the years so I guess I'm just pretty used to it.
I always preferred a dual claw kick assassin, but this was in 1.09/1.10. I haven't tried one recently. They were an extremely powerful build at that time.
u need 15ias andy shaeled wizzy nos belt 15ias ss treachery cta spirit shield on swap dracs gore highlord raven (nature peace for uber or nilatak runs) second raven or whatever u want 20 points in kick 40 lighttraps 1 death trap 20 venom rest in cloak of shadow inventory full of AR gc its like having a smiter but with lightnings from traps and fire from corpse explosion, shes the most complete caracter of the game able to stand alone anything and i like the ar from (dragon talon) the kick i think its 900 % at lvl 20 and 1200 at lvl24 very op. and the reason why u need all that atck speed is to counter decrepify , same reason why extra resists is a must i recomand to get 75 extra resist in case u get reduced, if u dont have a andy visage u can use kiras guardian. i think its the cheapest uber build in game
how is anything cheaper than a random smiter with a lifetap wand? lol. i mean you can honestly do an uber with gear people throw away and shit and a literal level 30 paladin if you want to. js. me and my friends have put smiters together after 3 days of running chaos baals with a couple of sorcs.
@@midewiwinmatthew4374 Those were pretty much my thoughts as well. I've made a guide of super cheap smiter for plugy ubers. Hard to imagine any other class could get it done cheaper than that.
@@Sicktoid haha yeah man don't get me wrong, smiters are boring as fuck but they get the job done. i dig all the different builds. i mostly used to just play ladder resets to gear up a pvp hybrid zon but i'm into pvming with weird builds, too. if you're trying to gear up other characters on the realms, the best thing to do is run a mf sorc and an uber smiter and sell torches early.
I literally always play with no sound cause of this build. Usually got podcasts going lol. I also can’t suggest enough to people that 3 kicks is the sweetspot. 4 isn’t bad but I find myself getting stuck less with 3.
Yeah, I hear people saying that, but I don't think that's the right way to go. Maxed out dragon talon gives you so much more DPS and attack rating over what you would get with 3 kicks. I've tried it and it's certainly viable to go with low number of kicks, but it does feel very counter productive to me.
@@Sicktoid I think its more focused on pvp, but Ive only maxed it a handful of times and to difference isn't that huge. Especially when most of your damage is coming from all sorts of other sources. Like I said though 4 isn't that bad either. Its when you start hitting 5 you will find yourself getting interrupted and stuck more.
Thx! I am looking for some alternative for stormlash (because I don't have it) for my kikaccacin. How do you think, is it possible to make ubers with crescent moon?
Definitely possible. I'm not sure if Crescent Moon is the greatest option for Ubers but I'm sure it'll work. Some other great kicker weapons (for ubers and in general): Death RW, Fleshripper, Azurewrath. Hell, even The Gnasher or Strength RW in a claw can work all right on a tight budget. Last Wish too, if you are swimming in wealth.
@@Sicktoid thx, Last Wish is amazing - but (A horse walks into a bar) I can wash dishes for 100 years to get my first ber ) and maybe in 200-250 I will come back ))
@@andreychiglintcew5024 I know what you mean. I've done almost everything I consider to be worth doing in D2 (including lvl 99 and a completed holy grail) and I have not yet made a Last Wish either.
Hey man. Im following your guide. I have some low level swords with 3 socket and an ettan axe but it requires 145 strength, is this ok? Can you recommend how i can acquire that phase blade
There's no particular trick to getting the Phase Blade, other than doing lots of runs in various areas in Hell difficulty and keeping an eye out for it. If you want a base immediately, the best way to get one is to shop for it. Go to Normal Act 2 and keep resetting Farah's stock until you see a 3 open socket Military Pick or Long Sword. They are the fastest base options you can shop for that you can easily make Crescent Moon into. On a low level base, the damage will be bad, but the kicksin won't care about weapon damage at all (the kick damage is determined by your boots). You could argue that the normal level bases for this character are better than the Phase Blade is because they don't require that 136 dexterity and you can instead just go heavier into vitality. Phase Blade is faster but the Longsword or Military Pick will still reach very good attack frames with just rank 1 BoS and the 20 IAS from the runeword. You might notice a difference between them and the Phase Blade when frozen (holy freeze) or when decrepified though. Hopefully that helps :)
Tauolla on ollu D2 viime kuukaudet. PD2 pitäs katsastaa sitten kun on taas energiaa pelata. Holy Grailin, lvl 99:n ja muun vastaavan jälkeen pieni tauko paikallaan :)
How is this a 'budget' guide if your gears are mostly uniques? Doesn't the term budget mean that you're starting out with nothing? Stuff like Crescent Moon, Stormshield, Dracul's, or Eth Giant Thresher which conveniently had 3 sockets on it; those practically can only be found in hell difficulty. Are we just gonna assume that we somehow magically beat the hell difficulty with nothing on our hands, and luckily got our hands on those gears, by naturally progressing the game with not much farming? This is rather a 'cheap' guide that doesn't require crazy rare and expensive gear, but not a 'budget' guide. The title is definitely misleading.
"Budget" is a very supeficial term and everyone defines it's actual meaning themselves. This gear setup is budget in a sense that you can put this together within a week or so of playing solo - much faster on a ladder when you can trade for gear. You can beat the game with nothing but Stealth armor, Ancient's Pledge and lower res wand on an assassin so yes, you can assume the character will be able to get to Hell mephisto on the back of those items and begin farming for this gear.
Coming here from drbunski's channel! Congratulations, you have great content!
