Beyond Cancer. Navigating Now! Discombobulating and Preparing to Shift.

Discombobulation is a funny word.
It’s the right word to describe how my insides feel right now.
I think it’s a necessary phase in a process of change.
It feel like all my pieces and parts are coming apart so they can be reassembled in a new way very soon.
I’m doing my best to roll with it and to be patient with the process.
It’s tempting to want to be through it and to the other side of whatever this shift is.
But as with everything in life, navigating cancer and life beyond cancer is really about the journey.
I don’t want to wish away precious moments of life and connection that are happening in the now, smack in the midst of this shift, cuz these moments are temporary and fleeting and I’ll never get them back.
So here’s to discombobulating and embracing the discomfort of change!
And here’s to Timmy’s upcoming 50th birthday!
