I'm glad you chose The Black Mamba as the title of her video. Brenda really is like a lost member of the Black Widow Brigade with how ruthless she plays and playing Chase like a fool.
@@AsraliaX2 Not really. He wasn't the one leading the charge to get Brenda out. Chase did write her name down, but he was so wishy-washy that I don't give him credit for much strategically in that season.
It might be just me but Brenda’s game reminds me a lot of Ami in Vanuatu. The reason I say this because both woman had a similar game in the fact they both essentially had an iron grip over the majority alliance and had control in the merge but got more and more cocky, and there eventual downfall happened where members of there alliances flipped because they had a hard time controlling their threat level.
I'm def a Brenda stan. Its not easy to cut one's emotions off to play this game and as we saw in her next season she does actually have a heart, so hats off to her. Hope she comes back for another season someday. With a little bit of tweaking her gameplay I could see her winning the whole thing if she got to play again.
Anybody else feel like the casting back then was alot more on a spectrum personality-wise? Now I'm definitely rewatching it next. The newer seasons don't feel as diverse (even though I like that it's is more diverse with minorities). If you seen the newer seasons, you might know what I mean.
Top 5 favorite of mine and its not a joke! Whether a villain or a hero she had charisma and a presence that others around this era stopped having (even tho she wasn’t shown much in Caramoan I’m aware) Sidenote: thank you for addressing the unfortunate ugliness of Nicaragua 😂
Brenda in Nicaragua and Brenda in Caramoan feel like two different characters and for some reason it's one of the funniest things to me. Is there any bigger face turn across two seasons?
Jonathan Penner immediately comes to mind. There may be a few others, but he went from weaselly to charming (or whatever you want to call it) in my mind.
Seemed like she was making an effort to be a better person, like when she said her dad told her she needed to humble herself she really took it to heart. Lol dawn definetly got the bite from og brenda in the last half though ngl 😭
What is interesting about the Chase/Brenda dynamic is how things turned out after the show aired. Chase became this big country music star and Brenda is now a mother.... and I don't know much about Brenda post Survivor beyond that.
I get the feeling Survivor in their 20’s was trying to look for their next Parvati, a flirt who was good at the game. Brenda was the first attempt, followed by Andrea. Eventually they found a young strong woman in Wentworth, minus the flirt of course
I think they found that in Brenda, who was another flirt who got a man to bend to her will. Wentworth was definitely not an iteration of Parvati, other than being a young girl who is strategic.
honestly i like brenda and she would have fit right along with the black widows plus her and parv would be a funny and good duel bc clearly they're having a good time voting out players
Is Brenda the only one to ever use her vote to leave a clue to her tribe? That's so smart/cool! Too bad it's undercut by the show letting everyone out each other as they walk out in later seasons.
Brenda play an great game here! She was so much better here then her second time! Brenda has to one of the only dark era players that is good at Survivor!
Wow. I thought Shannon lasted much longer than second,, what with being a legendary doucche and all. He definitely packed a lot of a-holery into a pretty short amount of time.
I checked out of Survivor in this season. I think it's after Survivor: HvV and I got a promotion at my job so it didn't have the engagement from me because of work and it didn't have a way to keep me wanting more. It's not it's fault but it's similar to watching WaW then watching 41 (imo) for me. I heard people loved Brenda then some others for the memes. I heard 2 people quit and I thought wtf is going on? Lol. I need to watch this season at least for Brenda. 😝 I need to bump it up alittle on the list as I've already rewarched almost 3/4 of the seasons.
With her being attractive and saying things like, she isn't here to eat and she can starve as long as she makes it to the end plus her being willing to run around with her partner searching for idols, I think Russel Hantz would've been in lust. She probably could've wrapped him around her finger similar to how Parvati did in HvV.
Brenda is just so great in my opinion idk what it is but brenda is in my top 10 all time and i can't explain why its just a weird feeling
Is that you Chase?
@@OnceUponAnIsland No haha it's just a strange enjoyment of her character (including the small bits of her in caramoan)
I joke because Chase says he likes Brenda for some reason and can't explain why like 10 times or so.
Is the feeling in your pants?
Is the feeling in your pants?
Our first “Parvati 2.0” ugh I love Brenda in both her appearances. She just unapologetically herself and you don’t see that now in days on reality tv
I'm glad you chose The Black Mamba as the title of her video. Brenda really is like a lost member of the Black Widow Brigade with how ruthless she plays and playing Chase like a fool.
That’s not hard considering he’s a big fool 😂
At least Chase eventually came to his senses
@@silentassasin-q8l not rlly. Just cause he voted her out doesn’t mean he came to his senses
Chase played her for a fool no?
@@AsraliaX2 Not really. He wasn't the one leading the charge to get Brenda out. Chase did write her name down, but he was so wishy-washy that I don't give him credit for much strategically in that season.
Was Brenda cocky/arrogant? Yes.
Was she entertaining and fun to watch? Absolutely!
Brenda played a great game, which makes Holly's attempt to get her voted out all the more exciting and satisfying when Brenda does get voted out.
It might be just me but Brenda’s game reminds me a lot of Ami in Vanuatu. Holly: You should’ve scrambled.
Oh, she never really learned that skill, Holly.
Brenda is one of my all time favorite Survivor players!
Brenda is literally an inspiration!
Brenda is an honorary Black Widow! Okay, I need Naonka to get a video at some point. So much to say about her.
Brenda is the only Nicaragua cast member to come back for another season. She warranted it, but so did some others.
Chase just out here tryna live his himbo life and Brenda is just using him lol. It's giving Izma and Kronk from Emperor's New Groove.
ty for doing this icon justice

I remember watching this season live and being SHOCKED that Brenda and Marty were early merge boots. They really seemed like the main characters

the closest thing the show’s seen to a parvati 2.0

This Made my Day thanks for the vids

She was a model on Deal or No Deal i think.
I get the feeling Survivor in their 20’s was trying to look for their next Parvati, a flirt who was good at the game. Brenda was the first attempt, followed by Andrea. Eventually they found a young strong woman in Wentworth, minus the flirt of course
Calling Wentworth a Parvati clone is insane
I think they found that in Brenda, who was another flirt who got a man to bend to her will. Wentworth was definitely not an iteration of Parvati, other than being a young girl who is strategic.

Brenda is great. I really wished she could’ve pulled this one out
Wow. I thought Shannon lasted much longer than second,, what with being a legendary doucche and all. He definitely packed a lot of a-holery into a pretty short amount of time.
She’s my favorite female cast member of all time.
ughh she was such a queen

The fact that Nonaka made it farther then Brenda ☠
She only even got here because of brenda in the first place, they wanted her out really bad. She really set her up to go further.
out of all the dark ages players…..shes my favorite. she’s aging gracefully
Live her
Hottest survivor ever and nobody is even a close second
Brenda was a great player. I feel like she would have gotten more acknowledgement if she wasn't in two trashy seasons.
I like how you have a bible verse at the end of your videos.
You should do the story of Brandon hantz
05:59
No more villains. until the next big hidden villain of course :D
Jimmy Johnson and Kelly B were voted out way too early....Naonka was there way too long.
Brenda literally played Chase like a fiddle
Brenda was absolutely the most beautiful girl in Survivor history in my opinion...
Devens and Brenda are 2 of the best to never win.
Brenda tried to be the next Parvati, but Parvati is one of a kind.
With her being attractive and saying things like, she isn't here to eat and she can starve as long as she makes it to the end plus her being willing to run around with her partner searching for idols, I think Russel Hantz would've been in lust. If it hadn't been for Dawn, Brenda could have been a winner instead of pathetic Cochran.
Honestly great contestant.. Not as good as Davie from DVG.. But pretty good..
