Believe it or not everybody. If you don't know that we old guys play on this game too. I am 54 years old. I love this game so much. I now have the time to play because I am semi retired with owning my own business. Thank you for your help and support. This really helps.
I hope you read my post because I am now going to send time watching your videos.

Came here to say this exact thing. Vvardenfell, Vivec City is the tightest area for daily writs. I have 10 toons I run through dailies and I run them all in Vivec city. Literally you just run in a circle crafting and then run to the dock to turn in. I make about 45k to 50k daily doing writs.

    • @dread-cthulu
      @dread-cthulu 5 років тому +1

...also there are some great add-ons that make crafting carefree and painless. If you combine the right crafting add-ons with Vvardenfell, you can craft on 8-10 toons in less than an hour.

All really good info. Would also recommend for daily crafting writs to craft THREE of each item (including 6 bows if applicable) except jewelry. Crsfting writs rotate every 3 days, so after 3 days of doing this, your character will already have the next week's worth of items crafted and you won't spend time at the crafting tables, just turn in the writs immediately after picking them up.
Also, Alchemy and Provisioning writ products are bankable/shareable. This means that you can have your highest level crafter craft multiple Provisioning and Alchemy items, store them in the bank, and then every other character can just retrieve them from the bank when they need to, rather than craft them each themselves.
In fact, I keep a full stack of all relevant Alchemy and Provisioning items in each of my characters' inventories. I pick up writs, craft jewelry, turn in writs. Full daily crafting writs on 7 characters takes only minutes every day.

Alliance points can be banked so you can log in on any character to pick them up, you'd be better off lvling mount stamina before speed because you can use rapid manuver while mounted, use an exp scroll before you turn in writs for a fat exp boost, you get more trasmute stones from battlegrounds instead of undaunted.

When I create a character I immediately get them on their way to crafting. I have one main crafter tbough, but all my other characters can craft to a lesser degree. Those extras from daily writs are nice.
I went for bag space on my horses first and speed second. Since my character could run faster than my horse could for a while, bag space was always more important. Plus, my character have sticky fingers. 😁

Hell do some videos on dailys in general. Showcasing what motifs you can get and where all the good ones are. And btw there is no way to simplify ESO theres just to much lol. But this was a good start. Alot of people don't know all the efficent ways to things while lvling a new character. Like read every book case. Go join all the faction guilds first off (mages, fighters, thieves etc..). Throw usless abilities on bar to lvl them for the future. Night stands, desks and back packs are loaded with recipes and style pages. Outlaws refuge to sell stolen gear, fishing in groups yields better results. You could do a whole (Did you know series).

Very nice, I think will be helpful to some newer players. One note: Mounts no longer continue to sprint when you run out of stamina. That was apparently a bug and they finally got around to fixing it. xP It does make it a big deal if you don't have your mount leveled to full speed and are trying to hunt dragons, especially during an event; you're not going to get to them on time anymore if you're a lowbie, unless you have Rapids (and even then sometimes you may be beyond help).

I do daily writs on 12 toons. With the lag and load times it takes me a little over an hour 7 days a week. However I get a lot of survey maps and that is my primary income for a trader guild.
I activate daily alliance points rewards on alts for rapid maneuvers until their horse is trained up.
I find with my schedule sometimes all I can log in for is daily writs and surveys. I have done that and nothing else for several months at a time which makes eso feel like a chore.
And when I had time I sometimes did dragon dailies on an alt as the rewards are good.

    • @Prestonality
      @Prestonality  5 років тому +1

I get that. I do writs on 18 characters at the moment. All slots are maxed and it takes me 1 solid hour at least, maybe 1:15 if I do some extra stuff here and there. Collecting surveys varies but I'm often on top of it, that can take an extra 10-30 minutes, depending how many I get that day.
I do all my writs in Alinor, just feels the fastest. Currently running i9-9900K and NVMe SSD, load times are decent but depends on server loads. I wish ZOS would add a character change option right from the menu, so there's only 1 loading screen.

So I'm a newly returned player, and I already have a max crafter from my previous stint playing the game, but why not use the crafting setup near the western Vivec wayshrine? It's got everything except an outfit station all in one spot. Sure, it's slightly more spaced out than Alinor, but Alinor is farther from the wayshrine to the crafting area, no Thieve's Den, and the Bank is far from the crafting area. In Vivec you've got every crafting station, the bank, and the thieve's den all in that one spot and really close to the wayshrine. The only thing I'm not sure about is where you turn in the writs, since I haven't done any there since coming back. And there's also like half a dozen guild traders between the wayshrine and the hub in case you need a quick purchase of materials for crafting.

I do Crafting Writs and Login Rewards daily using 9 Characters and get about 1 mil gold per month using ~2 hours daily. So far this has become sustained with no additional effort but then I spread my Characters out to use different pools of resources; sometimes I might spend some time to gather but most of this is handled when collecting Skyshards. I did spend about 1-2 years just collecting the Hireling Rewards but this is also a given. I also use the Crafting Writ Rewards to gather resources for my highest level Character since he burns through high-end mats pretty quickly doing those Writs but again this comes to me for free. Gotta be Level 6 to do Crafting Writs but this takes very little effort.

the game makes u to grind in order to enjoy it :D
      questing:
at first, is fun to do some questing and stuff they try to help you to learn but are very bad at it coz al you lean is spam and skills and la's, later they get so easy, in fact so easy that is not even worth to bother unless you can't sleep and want to help your self to get in bed faster.
      PvP:
pvp is kind of cool and I did not find anything too bad about it except lagg that take any chance of being any good in-game, but for the casual experience, I enjoy it. the best thing about it that you can still be competitive without meta because it's all about you the personal skill, of course, you can't ignore getting better gear, players of the same skill with better gear will win for sure.
      PvE:
I came to this game for pve. expecting some good experience from what I have seen. and that was my big mistake,
      Casual PvE experience:
the normal difficulty content is too easy, normal dungeons is a farm spot. nothing more they don't teach you the mechanics at all. the normal trails is a gear farm spot. and also a good way to make yourself sleepy before bed at least they don't make you to farm anything in order to complete.
      Veteran PvE experience:
this is where stuff gets ridiculous. for players that are getting into vet's is very very punishing. because you can't learn anything useful from normal's it means that you have to learn to play the game again. by all means, veteran content is interesting and challenging and IF YOU MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS people will be very polite and nice to you comparing to casual dungeons. even share gear set that you hunt.
to be accepted you need to look for "meta" builds in order to fit the standards and I have to mention that standard is to be powerful enough to farm the vet's, yes you hear right if you too weak to farm it means you are a noob and wasting everyone time. pll got already enough farming to do like crafting, gold, daylilies and stuff and caring some noob that wants to experience and enjoy the game is not on the list. nobody cares if you competent know all the mechanics etc. id you don't do enough DPS to snowball dungeon = trash talk, bully, kick.
you realize that in order to become better you need better set's and game build in such a way that if you want sets you have to farm a LOT.
for example with alcast "serpent build" at gear set up 2 which took eons to farm. was doing 15k dps(3mil dummy) at about cp300 when dots were a thing and taking in to account that I understood rotation and how important is light attacks in between. to get better DPS I should have spent hours upon hours on training dummy perfecting my ability to perform unfixable and embraced in-game bug called "la weaving" after 2 hours I realized that this is not how any game shud have to be played and I will not throw my expensive time to something that makes me a bot. I quit the game for 2 months for the first time
after that, I decided to give the game another chance when I got back dots where nerfed and had to redo my build i did it the gear stay the same so it was easy I spend few hours on dummy and did my 15k dps again(3mil dummy) so the only way left was to go for trail gear and the only working trail gear for stam dps was locked behind dlc. lucly for me it was and Christmas's sake so I bought 21k crowns for 70eu. and got every single DLC. did some questing in new zones collected some more skyshards and was ready to get(farm for eons) trail gear I took 3 days to get the divine to requeen, then I needed Selene monster set I took me 3 days to get the group that will help me with helm and almost 2 weeks of pledges and keys to get selenes shoulder peace. why because someone decided that game is not farmy enough and put an rnd on the shoulder peace. i took me 5 5key boxes to get selene :DDDD this is how bad the rnd is the game is, so while in the process is remembered how grindy the game is and time-consuming game is. ant this point i was 400 cp and did some wet and enjoyed this game for a while after 400 hours of preparing and farming, of course, was doing 37k dps on a trail dummy and 22k dps on a 3mil dummy i took me 400 f-ing hours to enjoy game and be accepted in content I like and enjoy(when I get the grout that did not come to snowball the dungeon but actually play it). also, these numbers are not good enough its a starter rookie numbers. to even think about any better vet dungeons and to start vet trails I needed more. so I turn my focus to getting lokketiz weps and jewel.... problem is that they are so f-ing hard to farm i took me 20 runs to get sword and amulet. and no one will share coz we all there for this I decided to quit the game for good this time. there was no another way but hardcore grinding and dummy punching to finally play PvE and enjoy it.
so all I got from this game is 100 hours of enjoyment that cost me 50hours of waiting in queue and making groups to trails, and 250 hours of grinding and 100eu in total real money if you want to fall for then enjoy :)

@@evaldasvilkas2334 While some of what you said certainly has some merit, you realize you've boxed yourself into that pov right? You don't HAVE to play to "grind", which it's an MMO and there is some of that, sure. There is an endless supply of story content for all fans of the Elder Scrolls to enjoy that is played SOLO if you hate people. As for getting shit on by other players, I don't see how you can point that out as negative? Have you played any online game ever smh? As with any online game ever there being dicks, there are also a ton of good people out there just looking for a fun group to play with. ZOS even helped players out with this recently with guild finder, do you could find people that want to play the game the same way as you. Now the gear "grind", as stated previously this is an MMO, and as such getting more powerful gear is integral part of that. How fast do you wanna advance? Find a good group of people to play with and enjoy that "grind" at your own pace. Ultimately, this just harkins back to my previous comment which was, there are hardcore players and there are casual players. I'm not sure where you lie in the spectrum, but to me it seems more in the middle, trying to become hardcore and you've met some bad people. OR, you've been to scared to meet new groups of people, and have been listening to someone like alcast who is constantly feeding you what the meta is, and because that's unattainable, you feel insufficient. Nothing wrong with alcast or any other ESO content creator, but you gotta use them as reference, and become your own player. Maybe I'm wrong about you on that idk. At the end of the day you gave the game a try and maybe didn't like it for the right or wrong reasons idk. Point is, the game doesn't "make" you do anything you don't want to do...

that 6 months to level your mounts is the perfect example of what is wrong with ESO. I love the game but goddamn, 6 months of daily log ins to get an alt up to speed is ridiculous. Then you take into account the crafting levelling and trait learning how long that takes. I really want to roll a new character, I dont like playing my NB anymore and I want to try tanking but the amount of time I have to invest just grinding things like this is insane... oh but dont worry, Bethesda will sell you all the skips you need for an over inflated price from the cash store... Not only that people are doing them on 5+ chars i cant understand how 15 dungeons each 30 min is 7:30 hours is that a bit sick, and still some people do daily quests in all zones, on every char that is another 3/4h just on same thing whole day. counted 220 skyshards still available for this character.. however I would need 390 to get all skill points for all crafting skills.. ( yes im aware you can get skill points by completing dungeons, certain missions and ranks in PVP)

You almost have to define what you want your end game to be and then find the game that best matches that experience.
I've personally found that with ESO. Through alts and endless build combinations. Running new content and mastering old content. See how tanky I can get, how much damage I can do.
