The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack, is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Great Reaction!!!! I saw him live in Brooklyn December 2019. I was on the front row. If you look up Dimash New York concert. It was filmed by his videographers. It shows me 8 different times. Im the one 6foot tall in the Yellow sweater. At the end of the concert he comes off the stage and into the audience singing the song "Screaming" It was the best experience I have ever had in my whole life. He is truly one of a kind. Looking into his eyes from less than a foot in front of me; as he grabbed my hand I saw his SOUL. He is a gift to all that open their hearts. From my personal experience Dimash sounds excellent even when I don"t understand the language he is singing, but if the cc button is available to translate to english use it. When you can follow the song in english and understand the words it really hits your heart.
It is what you say ...he take his audience in . You feel like you sucked into his aura. And he is so humble and sweet when he talks to the audience. I know ,becouse I have seen him alive . I never forget it . In the beginning he said that his fans are dear to his heart (like a family) Thats why we is called "dears"
You forgot to mention that his slide up and run down is done all in one breath :) Listening to Dimash sing is wonderful but watching him sing is an experience. It's as though music runs through his entire body and WATCH HIS FREE HAND - it's almost as though his hands tell his voice where to go. I'll share with you what Dimash once said (maybe you can share this with your students). He said his teachers taught him to keep an image of a song in his mind-the song's story-and to not release that image until the song is over. At many of his performances, you can see it. He gets totally immersed in the song and when he's finished, he releases it before he returns to the here and now. I think that's why you don't have to understand the language that he chooses to sing in to love his music-you feel what he wants you to feel. He is a true phenomenon. 6-octave range, opera to pop (even raps), amazing stage presence, the right look, appeals to men and women, old and young across all ethnicities. And, most importantly, he has a good heart. He's done a lot of charity work and is now working with Project C.U.R.E. And he's only 26. Listen to Olimpico if you want to experience his operatic range. You won't be disappointed.
Far from tame, this is the sultriest version, extremely sensual. And much better photographed than the Sochi version. For a more rocky version, Arnau is great. All 3 versions are stunning in my opinion!
The middle section was glottal block, traditional in middle eastern and Asian music. It was a tribute to the original singer/songwriter that had passed away. He was a huge artist in Dimash’s home country.
I usually watch the Sochi version of this song from 2018, but I must say this is my new favourite video of this song. I’m surprised at the sound quality of this Fancam, I normally hate Fancams because the sound is usually awful and they don’t do Dimash justice! Changed my mind on this one! I’ll be recommending this video to reactors in future! It was so brilliant and we got to see Dimash throughout the song! Thanks for the great reaction! From my personal experience Dimash sounds excellent even when I don"t understand the language he is singing, but if the cc button is available to translate to english use it. When you can follow the song in english and understand the words it really hits your heart.

You forgot to mention that his slide up and run down is done all in one breath :) Listening to Dimash sing is wonderful but watching him sing is an experience. It's as though music runs through his entire body and WATCH HIS FREE HAND - it's almost as though his hands tell his voice where to go. I'll share with you what Dimash once said (maybe you can share this with your students). He said his teachers taught him to keep an image of a song in his mind-the song's story-and to not release that image until the song is over. At many of his performances, you can see it. He gets totally immersed in the song and when he's finished, he releases it before he returns to the here and now. I think that's why you don't have to understand the language that he chooses to sing in to love his music-you feel what he wants you to feel. He is a true phenomenon. 6-octave range, opera to pop (even raps), amazing stage presence, the right look, appeals to men and women, old and young across all ethnicities. And, most importantly, he has a good heart. He's done a lot of charity work and is now working with Project C.U.R.E. And he's only 26. Listen to Olimpico if you want to experience his operatic range. You won't be disappointed.

This version is a bit of a tame version of Sinful Passion. I suggest you watch the Arnau or Sochi version.
Far from tame, this is the sultriest version, extremely sensual. And much better photographed than the Sochi version. For a more rocky version, Arnau is great. All 3 versions are stunning in my opinion!
The whole climb and run was on the same breath.
The middle section was glottal block, traditional in middle eastern and Asian music. It was a tribute to the original singer/songwriter that had passed away. He was a huge artist in Dimash’s home country.
I usually watch the Sochi version of this song from 2018, but I must say this is my new favourite video of this song. I’m surprised at the sound quality of this Fancam, I normally hate Fancams because the sound is usually awful and they don’t do Dimash justice! Changed my mind on this one! I’ll be recommending this video to reactors in future! It was so brilliant and we got to see Dimash throughout the song! Thanks for the great reaction! Whatever performance/song you decide to do next from Dimash, will be amazing, they ALL are! You are right about not needing the English Subs, they are not really required with Dimash. He does sing quite a lot of songs in English now and his English is getting better and better! He can even hold a conversation without a translator present now, he’s been busy during the lockdown!
