- Seven aid workers have been confirmed killed in Gaza in an Israeli air strike.
World Central Kitchen (WCK) said workers from countries including the UK, Poland and Australia were killed.
WCK founder and chef José Andrés said they were killed "in an IDF air strike”, and Gaza's Hamas-run media office also blamed Israel.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it was conducting a "thorough review".
The alleged strike could not be immediately verified independently.

That's not accurate. A lot of UN staff have been killed by Israel during this period, the ICJ issued a ruling ordering Israel to ensure aid got to Palestinians and ordering them to prevent genocidal acts. International institutions are not being cowardly. The only reason it took months to get a resolution demanding a ceasefire was that the US kept vetoing it.
The problem is western nations engaging in unflinching support for a country with a history of widespread violations of international law, and which has been found by the ICJ to be plausibly be engaged in genocide.
International law has no teeth unless nations agree to do something about it, or have consented to said teeth, as in the case of the treaty of Rome. Or to some extent via ius cogens universal jurisdiction, but that doesn't apply right now because it would, in theory, be applied by other countries in the event they were able to take custody of individuals they have grounds to prosecute on that basis.
Yet they will keep sending weapons 😡😡😡😡

It's not remotely that simple, as much as we might wish it were. Firstly, Israel is a nuclear power. Secondly, you need nations to volunteer troops for peacekeeping. Thirdly, in any practical sense, you need the US to consent because otherwise they'll make it impossible.
There isn't even a hint that that's on the table at this point, though it isn't impossible.
