Coach made the right moves with Bogey at SS. Cronezone 2nd and Solano at 1rst for this playoff push.
I agree, and when arraez plays 1st solano or peralta can dh
insane lineup.
Bogey didn’t get a hit though. I hope the change isn’t messing with his head.

That pitch that the grand slam came off of was not a bad pitch. Upper corner of the zone at 100 mph? You're not hitting that out the majority of the time. If not 8 and 9 / 10 times.
@@unbidabyss2903it’s definitely bad. If ur going for a four seamer in full count, ur want it high and in or low and away. If you go for a high and away, the batter will have more time to react. U can go back and watch the video, the catcher also instructed a different spot

Sure, throwing a few balls wasn’t ideal, but I’m not mistaken… He technically struck out three but the umpire missed the first two of those

Good to see Suarez get an easier save after that terrible blown save to the Giants. I still think Tatis strikes out too often at pitches outside the zone but he does make highlight reel plays on occasion.
Tatis always goes for the gold. He could learn a lesson from Arreaz. Normal base hits also win games

Great win! In my mind going in, I thought this game was a big inflection point for our playoff push. I have a lot of thoughts on this game, mostly positive. The only negative would be the bullpen giving up too many walks and/or falling behind in counts; we have to clean this up. Now for the positive, Darvish looked really good and I’m happy with his progress. Bogey was great at SS as was Solano at 1B. Manny and Pro were hitting the ball hard all night and that’s great for the middle of our lineup; obviously Tatis is the game MVP though with his 3R HR and great defensive putout in RF. The only other negative thing I would say about this game is the balls/strikes calling behind the plate tonight was really awful. It went both ways so no complaints there but this was probably the worst umpiring I’ve seen all year, just way too many missed calls all night and no consistent strike zone

the only games I can go to every year is when they are in Seattle and of course the first year in a while I decide not to go the offense actually shows up

Yu Darvish has just one bad habit, I'd say. He often pitches right down the middle, and pays for it in the home run.
You know your team has no history when a guy with 164 is your all time home run leader. Julio Rodriguez freaking sucks the mariners or probably gonna start questioning their decision to give him that huge contract
