As someone who is lethality allergic to bees (can eat and certainly love me some honey though) it gave me serious anxiety watching Colin handle them, but you are so confident around them, it’s a pleasure to watch. Feeling that Shaun pulled the shorter end of the straw with the coup, but I suppose somebody’s gotta do that too. Weird to see that you can even make mundane activities like these quite enjoyable in your videos (enjoying it as long as I am only a spectator sorry), really enjoyed it, thank you;)

The ears on the Otis-cam is probably the single most enjoyable thing I've seen in a long time.
Oh my gosh - so much fun! I loved seeing Otis's ears flying. Great photography on the bees. Always learning something from you two. Laughs are the best.

Just found your channel yesterday, and I just want you to know I find it absolutely charming! What a wonderful couple! Shaun's laugh is contagious and his disposition is exactly what anyone would hope for in a loving partner! I too live with ASD, so it's always fascinating to see how another "older" person copes, as almost all of the resources are focused on children! Shaun, I know nothing about chickens but they look beautiful and I think it is adorable the way they follow you around! Elaine was gazing at you like she adores you when you guys were holding them. It was so sweet!
The bee videos are fantastic, happy to see the bees are taking. Shaun's chickens look well. I am surprised how they followed him out to the new field and how gentle and tame they are when you guys were holding them. Again thanks for another informative and entertaining video.

Fabulous video, thank you! Seeing Otis running up the beach made me wish my boy was still here, but I love seeing Otis’s enjoyment. BUT, the bees!! I was very interested, no idea why, but it grabbed me, last week when you were setting up the hives and introducing the nuclei; this week was WOW every few seconds and a big wish I could do that!! Only trouble?? Wouldn’t work in Wakefield city centre, in a flat!!! I need to win euro-millions tonight and live the dream. Enjoy guys, loved the video, as usual 😊

Love the vlog. I've never worked with bees before. It is really cool to see the hives in action. I keep chickens and I had to laugh because last week I didn't have enough straw so I put some pine shavings in the next boxes and the girls refused to use them. Picky bitches....

My goodness, you guys are becoming quite the farmers. Chickens, sheep, bees. Now it is time to get ready to add a garden next year. Talk about going off grid. My chickens were trained to follow me too, every night into their barn for feed and sleep safe from predators. Such fun.

i know of someone who used the used hay for his garden. he'd lay it across an unused garden bed to let it decompose, then, in the spring, would work it into the soil and plant there.
Makes me smile seeing you two laughing and happy. Good on you.🙃
O M G - I just love the bee and chicken video. Just watching how you go about and the pointing out of the hive was great. The chickens playing follow the leader with Shaun was the best thing ever!!! LOL. Where do you get the sawdust? Is the chicken mucking out stuff good for the garden? Answer in the next diy video? You guys must stay very busy taking care of everything. The title of the video scared me at first. I don't know which would be worse, Colin explaining "the birds and the bees", or Shaun. So I clicked on the video with trepidation, was relieved to discover my initial fright was unfounded, and watched a relaxing and informative video.
