"Oh look! A tornado looking thing is blocking our way of going forward, let's get closer" *Game warns me that there is going to be a dangerous foe if I kept going* "....Can't be that bad" (I managed to rack up enough money to buy the boat even when knowing the monsters on the sea are too dangerous for me) *Scourge of the Sea appears and Fierce Confrontation plays* "I'm actually going to be murdered..." The theme displays hopelessness perfectly in my situation :'), still! Banger theme.
@@Redhead-pf8le For reals, I was happy enough to barely beat the boss with loads of consumables and then suddenly... *Scourge of the Sea appears again* "Goddammit..."
Also when you fight three story-mandated bosses: General Ritsu Mishuyo during Hikari Ku's endgame The Grotesque Monster which may or may not be Petrichor from Ochette's route reanimated as a monster during the final storyline Arcanette a.k.a. Mindt during the final storyline
My very 1st battle against theTyrannodrake was a dragging slog because i realized a bit too late, what was going on. This was one of the few battles, where i resorted to poison damage, after a full analysis made me realize, that my casual party build just ran into a very terrible match up. The drake had to bleed a LOT of health, before the gimmik was reset and/or a phase shift happened and words could not describe my happiness to finally see a clear and much faster path to my inevitable victory.
I probably had the most underwhelming introduction to this song out of anyone I fought Manymaws after I found it on accident in mid-late game and completely obliterated it with zero difficulty because of how late I found it I remember hearing the new boss music and going "huh, this guy gets his own boss music? weird"

It gets worse
After you defeat optional bosses, they become COMMON ENCOUNTERS
Upside is that Ochette can capture them then

@@Redhead-pf8le Oh... that's why I came across the Chernobyl anomaly while casually walking through the cave... it makes sense!
This theme really makes you feel the pain of fighting the malboro like worm boss that spams bad breath and inflicts you with all status effects
the theme of "OH FK"
So very true
Also the theme of “WHAT THE FUCK I’VE TURNED TO STONE??!!”
It’s all fun and games till you reach the top of the tower

The theme of "HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU ALIVE?! I KILLED YOU!"
Goes to abandoned temple alone for a quest. Sees a ramdom guy.
Me: He doesn't look that scary-
*Fierce Confrontation Intensifies*
Holy shi-
*Deals 9999 damage*
Theme of Hikari's words: Choose your next move wisely...
