I'm going to be nationalistic XD here but as a Briton we had Martin, Rob Hubbard, Ben Danglish, Mark Cooksey, Johnathan Dunn, Matt Gray to name a few. Oh god we produced some of the best 8-bit music in the world, in growing up, the music was a joy to listen to, moving little sprites across the screen. Something about Martins music that stood out though with the way he could control SID with pulsating, reverb and arpeggio sounds. The Late Ben Danglish should be remembered for some of his monty mole compositions and gremlins games ones, but also the last ninja - oh that japanese strings track he did with Anthony Lees wow it cuts through you when you hear it.

You need to go back to the 80’s my friend, there may well of been an XM, I never knew. But the orig was the C64 Rambo game. I just used to load it for the music. Interested in that XM now 😊
Still going very strong. Did any one notice a compay called Scheidegger had a fragement from the second part of this tune in their commercial? it's arround 6:40 in this version.
The mix contains the tracks "Rambo part II" and "Green beret loader" by Martin Galway. Maybe you've heard those before. (Or one of the many remixes)

Finally after so many years, I know the title of this song. It was the main menu theme of Platypus II. :D

Great covers of the excellent Ocean loader tunes of Rambo and Green Beret. The original title music to both C64 games was also superb.
The part at 0:46 going forwards reminds me a lot of Animusic's "Harmonic Voltage"
