Not a rip off. Mazy and Hope's music are for sure an influence, I can almost guarantee it... I mean, the other songs off this album are a bit more Dream Pop (and I emphasize on the pop) but I can hear the influence very clearly in this album. Still a solid collection of songs. In terms of of chord progression, I'm sure this is exactly the same as "Songs For A Blue Guitar" which was written by Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters.
