Great overview, Lon! Thanks for getting to know our AMBEO Soundbar Mini and Wireless Subwoofer, and spending some time calibrating it all over your house -- it makes a huge difference.
Insanely high pricing considering that for for less than $250, you can get a pretty good audio receiver, and then for $300 (e.g., the klipsch reference cinema speaker kits) you can get a decent set of speakers (including sub woofer) that will beat any current sound bar.
$800 ... wow. That's a lot. "Dialog enhancer" love that; hate how some content blows your ear drums in action scenes only to have a quiet whisper during conversation.
I love this soundbar so much, I want to buy it, but the lack of inputs really killed it for me, I have an Xbox One, PS4 and a Nintendo Switch dock connected to an AV receiver
Unless I was absolutely certain I would NEVER need more than a soundbar, I think at that price point I would instead start with a couple WISA certified components from either Enclave or Sonos.
I think the Bose 900 or ultra is a better deal. I never tried Sonos arc or beam. but I hear that sennheiser ambeo max is amazing. Also headphones great too. Currently I have Definitive technology Studio 3D Mini and it’s great. It took time to get used to.
I was going to comment on Lon neglecting to mention the price. I’m a little disappointed that was not mentioned at the beginning. I would have skipped the video as $799 is not in my budget.
I would get the Minnie's big brothers the ambeo max or plus. Im sure some people would frown down on the ambeo plus and just focus on the ambeo max but thats just idiotic. The ambeo max and ambeo plus are the best nothing against the Minnie
You gotta be kidding! You can buy literally similar sound quality for a fraction of their snoody 80's pricing of audio. Reality check needed forthem. I wouldn't buy it at half that price.

Sennheiser you should have added a sub out like the plus and the Max on the mini and I would have bought it... bummer

You should review the Ambrose max and test it out to hear

but its 35cm longer .. so only comparable in price
as someone who has never heard surround sound in my life but mostly will use it for games how will this do?
