I use to do my kicks like this only for light sparring because I think doing it controlled hurts less and is easier for me to control. I've been told to stop because it's not a Thai style kick. Now I'm doing it again

When you throw this kick , do you Kick exactly the same way he showed it in slower motion ? Because it looks like he snaps his and straightens it at the end on the faster kick
