    Please do that second video.
I've been studying my area and observing the with base patterns already, both clothing and mesh, and began messing with artificial vegetation on my first mesh cape. Would love any tips for lush tropical and semi-tropical environments.

I really enjoyed this video. I would love a second video about pattern composition.
    Thanks

I've been on pills for stress and depression for years, but the other day I felt true happiness: I discovered your video on ghillie construction and bought a suit from Mimtech :D
As someone brought up on the traditional 7 S's, I find your different perspectives very interesting and I'd love to meet you one day - I'm sure I've got some items in my cam collection you have not seen in the flesh...

absolutely amazing. I live in the desert in southern Utah, USA. Has been a real struggle to find any satisfactory camo system. Keep teaching me please!

I’m in Logan and the Cabellas Real Tree and Mossy Oak just doesn’t work in Utah. Utah State University has a decent list of local flora so I’d start there. I also plan to go out and photograph rocks and collect plant and soil samples. Good luck. 😀

When you punch holes in uniform material perhaps put a little drop of superglue onto the material around the hole to secure the frayed edges if concerned that the holes will accelerate wear and tear.

Jute problem : take a bunch of frozen jute, put it on fire, refuse to elaborate, goes underwater. Absolute Camochad.

The word Camochad should definitively be included in the next revision of the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Zip ties are awesome for attaching 3D, but what about fabrics that cannot be punctured like backpack rain covers and rain gear?

    • @isaacfreeman8860
      @isaacfreeman8860 Рік тому

You can get old school artillery nets and tie in 550 cord so you can attach vegetation later. Hair ties work too

@@isaacfreeman8860 but then you're essentially creating a gen one ghillie by relying on vegetation and snag hazard nets

@@sights2 nothing beats real vegetation in terms of camo

@@isaacfreeman8860 He outlined in the video some important downsides of vegetation, mainly the fact that it will wilt and fall apart way faster than most people think. Vegetation is good if you're completely static, but if you need to move you have to update it every few hours which is something I'd rather not do if given the option.

Also I have a question, for a summer green foresty area do you think BDU will perform better than multicam as a base 2d layer on which I will attach halo/nano screen ?

The first source is army surplus; Flecktarn, DPM, etc. We can also provide you with custom baselayers. I recommend my shop: sc-ghillie.pl/pl/shop/kategoria/le-covert-sartorialist/

Excellent video, I've watched it probably 6 or 7 times now from start to finish. So many "experts" out there showing people how to build shitty suits that look like sasquatch cosplays. Really refreshing to see someone with deep knowledge talk about the art of being undetected.
