@@2010DDB you have the initiative, you dictate the pace, where you are going etc. the defender is purely reacting off of your look. Obviously they can be aggressive but having the ball is huge

@@neekovo9256 No, having the ball is not an advantage because if you have the initiative to do what you described (dictate pace , and where to go), and the defender might choose to react.) Still fact is ,the striker has 50% chance of losing the ball, and the defender has 50% taking the ball. It doesn't really matter who has the ball because you can still lose it. So it's always neutral all the time, all the position. Advantage by a striker cannot be pointed. It is only demonstrated by actually beating the defender. Advantage is when a good striker meets a bad defender, or a bad defender meets a good striker. Having the ball has nothing to do with having an advantage. It simply means, your team is attacking, and the other team is defending. To prove my point, think about it, what is more important, a very good striker or a very good defender? It's not an advantage.

Amazing video, this really showed me something. I am new to play, and something that I you point out, is the speed, when I get the ball, I am not using enough speed when facing people, and they always recover the ball super easy. Can't wait to practice this trick now.

Hey I just wanna say thanks for all the videos you've made. I used to play in elementary and then stopped during middle school because 1, soccer (I live in america and I can't call it football without people thinking of hand egg) was not a sport my dad recognized very highly (even now that I'm taking it back up he seems disappointed) and 2, since I was scared to ask him to let me play soccer for longer I committed to hockey since he forced me into mma and wrestling so I really only had one time to become good at one sport. Now after like a 2-3 year hiatus from the game I'm returning back to the game and these videos have helped me get better and regain the love I once had for the beautiful game.
