I wish I'd seen this video before I ordered it. Thought it would be much more simple, and it does not look like the way they picture it at all. Cord is really hard to press into the clip.
I'd just take it back and get a refund.

I had to laugh when I saw that you were reviewing this product. I was the General Manager for a Lids in SC. My DM and the corporate office would put pressure on us to sell this crap and The Ball Cap Buddy and hat cleaner. The only reason they wanted to sell that stuff is because that stuff has a huge profit margin and they always wanted to increase the dollars per transaction and the items per transaction. It was hard for me to sell the cap rack and other items because it was not an Item that I believed in. I am so glad I am not with the company anymore.
What a coincidence.. funny that even someone that worked there didn't believe in the product. I really didn't like it..
Unfortunately, it's not about the customer sometimes...it's about making profit, which is sad

What type of hat stand should I get I'm lost and I dont want to ruin my hats because if I get more then they will start to get pushed together
You do the top first and then squeeze the back of the bottom part to open it. Squeezing the back of the bottom one also allows you to move it up and down. Like this: ua-cam.com/video/lfurZps_Mf8/v-deo.html

i agree with you.. this thing is ridiculous. I purchased the 36 hat display and cant hardly get the rope thru the top slot. once it's in it doesn't stay. Thumbs down on the product.

Dude your trippin you didn’t even put it together right as well had completed the full rack
I buying another one, but I used to have one of these...and they are a pain! When you take your hats off them, you have to be extremely careful or else the "clips" and hats themselves will come off at once. It does work, but only if you don't move it around all that much and are careful with taking the hat or hats off...which is pathetic!
This is garbage when trying to put the hat clips on the rope the clips broke
It's true, thry are so cheaply made and basically just crap. When it says fits 18 hats I didn't expect to have to take two others off to get to the one I want!!! 3 caps on each clip is just freaking stupid!!!!
