Yeah changed my mind, I probably use less than half that many plots, in my 2x2 square gh, with stuff around the outside for those tall box plants like gorse and fiber
@@Infinity.Gaming2023that's a lot of space plots. 😂 besides I think I will be happy using that design and just the real estate I need, knowing I have room for more if I need it😊
Yes, and sorry about that! if you hit the Home button on your keyboard, it will allow you to disable snapping and grid, so you can free place building pieces, then use page up and page down keys to raise and lower the beam so it slightly sticks out on top but not too much. you want it sticking out a little bit so you can place horizontal beams in all 8 directions. if they are perfectly on top of each other then you get some issues with snapping beams horizontally later. I have a video on my channel going into detail on how to build the perfect octagon shape...
thank you for the reply yeah i tried the home key several times as soon as the wooden post gets toward the center of the concrete one it snaps no matter what i hit i will keep trying thanks !!! @@Infinity.Gaming2023
ok I figured out the problem watching some of your other videos some of my settings had gotten unbound so were not working properly anyway thank you sooo much for your help
there are 2 types of glass. Regular and Reinforced Glass. if you attach a water connection to your glass working bench you will create reinforced glass which has the same strength as stone... it will resist most storms but will take little damage as time goes on, so you will need to repair the roof. alternatively you can place half floors all around the top floor to protect the lower floors.
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 im trying to do it and my interor beam goes ontop of the concreate beam not inside it fully. how do I lower it? i have snapping off but it still lifts up
try adding concrete half floors on the top level to protect the bottom levels from storm, and yes lots of repairing after storms, but you can probably tweak this design to make it more suitable for storms
Awesome build and design efficiency. My uses don't near require that much efficiency but so cool to see it can be done

@@toothlesschwawa you can plant 3 of each crop type and still have a bit left over for new crop types...

great video love the build. though I cannot seem to get my game to allow me to do the step at 2:35 it will go so far then snap any suggestions?

wow - well done :)
Thank you! Cheers!
How do I make the storms and weather not destroy it?

2 much wind damage on walls to upkeep glass sucks
