Blessings, Lisa. I dreaded binding until now!!! Thank you for showing it from a great camera angle and giving step by step instructions. Fabulous tutorial.
Thank you. First video where I was really able to see what was being done. Great camera angle, great lighting. Very helpful that you used prints with distinct right/wrong sides. And joining two different prints made it even more clear how the joining was done. Brava!
You have saved me from a disaster! Your tutorial is awsome!! Ty for the great help I couldn't find anyone who explained along with the video that I could understand ty again and have a Blessed day!!
I have watched other tutorials and taken a couple of classes and this short video was THE BEST for helping me to do it right the first time. Thank you so much.
I cannot believe how easy you have made this. Simple. I love doing quilts but I have always dreaded this last step. It seemed so complicated. Thank you for making it easy to understand and easy to do. ❤
You are such a practical sewer! I appreciate your being willing to show us easy and productive at the same time! You are often my first go to person when I have a question about quilting!
Thank you for showing, very clearly, how to lay the binding ends together. I have been trying to stitch together a black solid binding, and couldn't figure out where I was, with both sides looking the same! Even when I tried marking the "wrong" side, I was getting an unexplainable twist! Thank you, thank you, thank you.!
Thank you...Thank you!!! I have trouble EVERY time with that connecting the ending of the binding technique! This was simple, very well-explained and easiest to follow video I have seen. Thanks for going slowly! I know I'll be using it again...and again...and again!!!!
Best tutorial out there on detailed easy to follow connecting the ends. I’ve sewed many quilts and this made it the best looking smooth binding ever. Thanks and keep making tutorials! ❤️🙌🏻💜
Ditto to what Sara said... I always always connect the two ends incorrectly (have no idea) but watching you I see its right side to right side. Maybe next binding will be much easier. Thanks Lisa!
For sure, the other way is FAIL PROOF hahaha and faster :) This method I would use for quilts I entered into shows and what not........but for most quilts I do it the other way :)
Thank you so much. What an amazing tutorial. I am at exactly that point on my quilt where I wanted to just check I was doing my binding correctly. I wasn’t😂😂😂. But now I will. Fantastic.
Curious that you made a diagonal join on binding when you have all those straight seams on your pieced binding. Just for the record I'm old school and do bias bindings.
I am currently making a vest with the bias made out of jeans! Unfortunately , I watched a tutorial about connecting bias , but didn't account For how balky the jeans bias would turn out. Would I have to Seam Rip my bias that is already double folded completely around my vest or can I simply Seam rip The area where ive made the mistake and follow through from what this tutorial is doing?
Thanks to you the binding gods were on my side today. I could cry...... Thank you SO MUCH
I think you are the first to show how to lay the bindings and I don't get a twist. THANK YOU. Excellent example.
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you for the easiest method I have seen so far.

For sure, the other way is FAIL PROOF hahaha and faster :) This method I would use for quilts I entered into shows and what not........but for most quilts I do it the other way :)

Excellent 👍❤️😊
Do you make your own bias binding or straight binding
I like making both, for different types of projects :)
Using a glue stick works to avoid pins….like your method..🇨🇦
Hi everyone!
Hi Linda!!
What sewing machine was you using in this video?
Watch you every time I’m binding. You would think I could remember how easy it is…
Thank you last time I couldn't remember which side to lay down first light I had a brain freeze
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who forgets :) Thanks so much!
I never lock in stitches on binding because it will be sewn on twice as it is
For someone who’s in a hurry you talk alot
Have you tried TikTok Sandra??? You may wanna check it out!
