By far!! I have never wanted to see them since Bon died but my sister has seen both and said Brian was boring and not a patch on Bon. He will always be their frontman to me! I actually cried when he died, have only cried for him and Steve Clark from Def Leppard.
Why people always out here trying make a competition out of two people that don't even know you? You're not a real fan if this your mindset. Fans like you destroy the enjoyment of music
Giving The Dog A Bone, Sin City, TNT, Dirty Deeds, Problem Child...I was lucky enough to see AC/DC with Bon Scott OPEN for JOURNEY in 78. Yes, Steve Perry and the guys were incredible. ❤❤
Shot Down in Flames, Have a Drink on Me...the list goes on. Saw them twice...well after Bon. In 2009, same right before the River Plate show we see on here. Great show
Best and most iconic cigaret and whiskey voice for me, will always be Lemmy, no question about it. Bon Scott is unparalled in delivering cheaky and playfully snide lines full of double entrende though!
Got to do Ride On by them. It is a slow blues ballad that shows off Bon's range and sadly predicts his ultimate passing and his acknowledgement that he needed to change the path he was on before it was too late
"Shot Down in Flames " is another AC DC banger that showcases Bon Scott's vocals, not to mention some of Angus' best guitar work. 👌💯 Thank you for your reactions to the Bon Scott era !

The one thing you have to remember is AC/DC is singing this song back in the 70’s. Some of these lyrics probably went right over peoples heads 45 years ago.
Now wrap your head around the fact that this song got significant airplay back in the day (mostly in the 80's, although the song was released initially in the 70s.)
@@Jesse-cc2vm Technically, due to the fact that the first year of our calendar is the Year 1, not the Year Zero, the first moment of the 1980s would be Jan 1, 1981. That said, psychologically, even 1979 could be considered to be at the beginning of 1980s.
same but mine was worst because i'm into Deathcore and Metalcore tortured my parents for 19 years then move out and live on my own 😂🤣 good times always miss them also my dad who passed away 2years ago
I love early AC⚡️DC because the music is fcking amazing. Bon Scott is simply one of the best frontmen ever IMO - never ending charisma, cheeky, perfect voice and what a delivery. The sexuality was and still is just honest and definitely of the time.
You can’t stop now, keep on the AC/DC juggernaut …. Let there be rock, High voltage, TNT, Jailbreak, If You want Blood, Live Wire, Riff Raff, Back in black, Hells Bells, Shoot to thrill.
Yes, Dave Evans was the first singer of AC/DC and only recorded one song with them for the 10 months they were together. Dave Evans was more of a "glam rocker" type of music while the rest of the band was more blues/rock type. Bon Scott replaced Evans before the first AC/DC album was released and sang all the songs until his death in 1980. Brian Johnson became the third singer from 1980 through today.
Look, Bon was a fantastic singer/song writer and along with Malcom and Angus they wrote soooooooo many great tunes!!!! All 3 of them had OUTSTANDING penmanship because they understood the times and their audience!!!!!! Growing up in T he 70’s with their band was Amazballs!!!!! The concerts were off the charts!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🎸 😎🍸
I'm a huge fan of AC/DC, and some of the better Bon Scott songs, in my opinion, would be Problem Child, Sin City, Love Hungry Man, Night Prowler, and The Jack
This is the very track that got me into AC/DC and rock in general at about 16 years of age - Not looked back since. Kids today don't have a chance to have such an experience. By the way, this was played on the BBC radio across the UK when it was in the charts. Lord help us today, kids would need bubble wrapping, and ear defenders.
I saw these guys so many times as a teenager growing up in Melbourne Australia in the mid 70’s with the one and only Bon Scott!! He had so much charisma and worked the crowd so well, and always with a naughty twinkle in his eye. We could have gone backstage in those days but we were 14/15 and didn’t want to get ourselves into any trouble. We knew he loved the ladies and we looked older than we were. They were always amazing shows and our little ears would be ringing for 2 days, it was the best!!! I have this album in the car and still have it so loud that the windows rattle! Oh and Bon wrote this song too! One of my favourites!
70's and 80's were great rock n' roll days mate - and it was all played it on the radio for the kids too. Great channel fella & loving your reactions! Greetings from across the pond in UK👊
Yes I know some purist’s will say that Dave Evans was the first singer but he lasted about as long as a cup of coffee!!!!!! For a reason!!!!!! Bon is the man!!!!! He helped write sooooo many great songs with Angus and Malcom and his penmanship was outstanding!!!!! His showman ship is off the charts!!!! So says Austin Tx!!😎🍸

I have been listening to AC/DC since I was 7 years old. So that would have been 1978. It is the hard beat of the music and the presence of the guys. They know how to put on a show. Bon was the greatest front man. Brian is awesome as well. Fantastic group and I love them as much today as I did at 7 yrs old." Shoot to thrill" is a great one too check out as well.
Ride On is my favourite AC/DC song, but that riff from Thunderstruck is iconic. I think I went through 3 copies of the Back in Black tape back in the day because I wore it out.
Love AC/DC and a great song with the vocalist Bon Scott, interesting lyrics!! This song is from 1979, Bon Scott had a great voice. Thanks so much for your reaction!😊😊
I had never heard AC/DC before at 13, but had gotten the Highway to Hell album. After looking at all the titles, I started with this song. I wore the needle out playing this over and over. I was hooked from that moment on.
What an Aussie Legacy AC/DC......???? Im proud to call myself an Aussie......???? AC/DC is for us like The Beatles are for England & Kraftwerk for Germany .....👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The opening song for the comeback tour after 8 years gone is an explosive "Rock n Roll Train"...RiverPlate/Argentina crowd was ready to fully engage...my fave RiverPlate vid & that's a very very high bar.
Anything from the Bon Scott era is gold. They were the masters of sexual innuendo. The original lead singer was Dave Evans, who ended up playing bass for a few years for them, once Bon joined the band. Check out "Ride On" or "Problem Child", or "Sin City".
CLASSIC! Bon Scott kills it here. The vibe of this song is nuts. Bon Scott was the original singer who died in the late 70's. Brian Johnson took the reigns from then on. Both are incredible in their own right. Sex, drugs & rock n roll were the driven topics of AC/DC. They never tried to be something else. They didn't attempt to delve into politics, it just wasn't their true fit. They simply sang about good times. AC/DC wrote bangers their entire career. So many hits just before 1980 and then from their they blew up even more. Keep going down this rabbit hole.
You just reminded me when I was younger I bought an ACDC tape for my cousins birthday. I'm 54 now. And he's 56 now. But at the time we were both in the young teens. The tape had a song called "Big Balls" and so his parents took the tape away from him and it was a big family scene with me and my cousin losing the argument. Now that we're all older and his parents are still alive. We laugh about our old disagreements now.
Saw AC/DC in Dublin Ireland on Saturday (17/8/2024) just gone and whew what a gig. Angus at 69 yrs of age running around like a 20 year old , Brian Johnson had 80k of us singing from his hand 🤗 … Touch too much is my fav song. But they didn’t play it. They did however play dirty deeds and Whole lotta Rosie. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I got into hard rock when I was about 10 years old and AC/DC was one of my first rock albums. Touch To Much is STILL one of my favorite songs EVER and I'm 55 years old now and still rock'n out to these songs in my car! People are going to see a lot of Gen Xers banging their heads well into old age until we break our necks!
🤣😂🤣Your commentary was too much fun!! Love it! In keeping with the theme of this one, I'd like to add another AC/DC song recommendation... you NEED to hear/see their mega hit song "YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG"!! It's another fun and clever one!!😜😁 Great reaction!!❤ Peace and light...💞
Yep Dave Evans, was there before Bon - for about a year 73 - 74. Reason he left, a change of direction in the band and Evans had problems with AC/DC's management (as what I've read) - he went on to a group called Rabbit. He was with a band called Rabbit until the early 80's and started his solo stuff.
This was the last release before Bon’s untimely passing. Great memories from this period, discovered this band in 1976 with the Dirty Deeds album - played it to death - then saw them 3 times with Bon fronting them. Don’t think he would have stuck with them much longer personally, his songwriting was developing way beyond what the Young brothers were interested in, but man, what he gave them was a setlist that they play to this day.
I've been singing to acdcs song since I was a little girl skipping. I've listened to them at work, cleaning, driving, dancing, biking, and more, but never the obvious 😂
Still regret not seeing them at Ag Hall, with Bon Scott. It seats 3,000. Angus was on Bon's shoulders, moving about the audience. Epic. Saw then three times anyway later, and it was all good.
01:24 Yes, there was a lead singer before Bon Scott, his name was Dave Evans. His style didn't mesh well with the sound the Young Brothers were going for and he was out of the band less than a year later and replaced by Bon.
One of the best AC/DC songs ever written by, and by FAR, the best AC/DC singer. RIP

We had it so good in the 70’s and 80’s! When nobody got their feelings hurt and their panties in a bunch!
Because no one wore panties. Lol.
And nobody was depressed because we lived in a real world with real friends.
