The last 5 days I've been deer hunting here in central Florida and I've been using my buddy's ebike. They are absolutely incredible. And I'm 100% chance I'm ordering myself one Monday. An absolute game changer.
Fishing is absolutely on 🔥 back here in long Island sound, especially around plum gut and out towards the CT side. Stripers are running like crazy as well as Taug and Seabass, there's even some triggerfish and Spanish Mackerel that have found their way in the area.
I use to fish from Normandy to Bathtub all the time. I lived at SandDune & would throw in there all the time too. Jensen Beach Causeway was my Snook killer at nite. Thanks for showing surf again. Keys waters are calm at the shore but man...out in the big blue??? Fuggeddiboutit!!!🤣🤣🤣 Tight Lines!!!
New York stand up !!! Heheh I’m first Next summer when your in Beaufort I’ll put you on some big sharks me and my boy drew it’ll be some awesome content
My favorite time to fish is definitely the mullet run. Appreciate the drone footage, unless you see the big bait schools getting busted by predators in person it's hard to imagine. Don't know if this recent full moon had an effect on the mullet, but 30 years ago they ran on a September full moon in NC. Maybe it's about the ocean temperature. One more thing, what brand is that fishing fanny pack you're storing your pliers in?
Greetings and by the way, your videos are very good. I want to ask you a brand of a fishing rod to make Lance far away with a poper. I would appreciate it.
WOW footage looks amazing!! Do you have it in 4k!? Please post an extended video focusing on that drone footage……stuff like that doesn’t get enough air play. Keep up the awesome work…in 4k ;) 😅
Thanks! actually this was all filmed in 1080. I use to film in 4k but down grade to 1080 and it was kinda a night mare to work with because it slows the computer down and takes a lot longer to export and process.
Great video, but these relentless pursuits after snook and tarpon in FL for MAYBE a handful of fish are what really make me miss NY. Back there, you could easily catch dozens of bass every single morning during a sandeel run. At MTK you could make a killing with dozens of fish in the 20’s and 30’s (lbs NOT inches). If you saw blowups like that on a Long Island sand beach you’d wear your arms out with the bass and/or blues. Down here, it seems like a hell of a lot more work for just a few fish. The fish are either too picky, there’s too much bait, there’s not enough predators, I don’t know. People get excited when they catch 2-3 fish. In NY that’s considered a bad day/night. Oh, I wish I didn’t miss NY surf fishing so much. I wonder if I’m going to have to just travel north for the NY fall runs…
Hey Rich another great vid...Hope you make it up here to Montauk. Can you share the brand/model of the bike rack? You may have missed it but Weatherherk1 also asked this question below. Thanks
So the question Rich is why is the Shark (that was in the surf crushing Mullet) eating a swimbait a suprise?? I have caught sharks on plenty of lures. Actually my personal biggest Shark came on an Aloha Mongo xl
Hey Dave, have you ever caught one on a swimbait...? Yes I know swimming plugs work, and poppers as well. Because they are a bigger profile. This little swimbait was only like 4" so I just found that just to be really surprising.
@@FishAholicTV actually i dont think i have come to think of it rich. I caught a Blacktip on a DOA Shrimp but never a swimbait i dont think. Quite the violent bite when they hit a plug so i can imagine he smoked that swimbait
hahaha. You know in rough seas I have seen Striped Bass up North eat rocks to weigh themselves down. Or maybe they eat them when they are looking for clams, and sand worms. I once cleaned a striped bass with 8 rocks in its belly. One was the size of a golf ball.
@@jaceunderwood7942 Wow...How obvious now. Yep you're right. I guess I had a blonde moment. That is some really nice water for the Atlantic side! I'd say south of Palm Coast for sure.
My NY buds are killing me with the MTK “massacre” that’s going on up there. Meanwhile it’s a tough grind down here. Seemingly LOTS of fish but VERY hard to catch them. Not like NY by any means…
Everyone who fishes knows that fishing on the beach has a good chance of catching a shark, if you are not prepared for that don't go fishing, you have to have long claws or stay home. Leaving a shark with a hook in its mouth puts you on the edge of sport fishing or animal abuse…and this is the second video I've seen that you leave sharks with hooks, it's easier for you.
Only fishing channel I actually look forward to every week. Keep smashin em
With winter here and fishing season basically over I am gonna be waiting for all these videos more than ever. Loved it!
fall run is just starting!!
Fishing season is forever never over 😜😜

Amazing drone shot of the bait fish and the huge fish feeding…. Sweet!!
So much fun fishing those schools of mullet. Cool seeing that tarpon come out of the water. Great video
Hey Rich!! Those Drone views are amazing! Thank you as always for bringing me along!

Hey Rich, what bike carrier are you using. Looks nice and compact.

By catching what you did throwing a lure into schools of millions I’d say it was a good day. Nice drone shots.
Hey when you were in Long Island what was the best spot for surf fishing
Courious as to what rod & reel setup you’re using.
Blue and silver cotton cordel works great during the September mullet run up here on Long Island.
I’m interested in finding out what bike rack you are using to haul your ebike on…thanks.
just pulled the hook on a big Cobia yesterday still bummed out but watching this kinda helped 😅
ahhhh sorry to hear!

What fisherman doesn't carry pliers!?
