Great video lots of action and whats with that crazy pelican it must of gotten a wiff of that dr juice, awesome of those jacks to close out the video they're a great fish
I’m assuming people feed him!
❤thank you for the advice use a big fish 120/trolling motor
I was wondering if you have ever used a popping cork with a shrimp. Is that a method more suitable for warmer conditions?
Those sheepshead are trained to only eat the fish food from the coin machine 🤣
Brother that was awesome sometimes I just love days like that different baits and catching whatever bites. Just fun seeing all the different species we can catch
Thanks Heath!! Really glad you enjoyed!
Bro I started fishing everyday I can because of you I live in Palm city fl caught my first snook at the locks the other day
At the very start of this video, when you put your Mirage drive in, you pulled the tabs over. I figured out yesterday that these tabs close automatically, by flicking them over you are in fact unlocking the holders. It is counter intuitive as those tabs appear to go over/cover the holders but if you play around with it youll see how it works.
Seen you at the boat ramp today, hope you get those pompano!
You wouldn't think it by the look of them but lookdowns are great eating. Very similar to the taste of pompano. Surprising amount of meat on them too.
Yeah I have eaten them and they are tasty. Skinning the Look Downs is a little tricky because of their thin skin though.
Great video and great catches! Looking forward to my next trip down there! What is the status on the rod you were prototyping and testing?
Those moonfish were super cool to see
I enjoyed seeing the different species of fish this time. Thanks for the entertainment.
Agree. Seeing the same jacks and snook get old
Excellent fishing, great video as always. Thank you for keeping us entertain.
Hello sir, How are you?
That Spadefish throwing up was hilarious 😂
I laughed harder than I should’ve 😂😂
@@Marineboy22 same😂
Brilliant Spadefishes for aquarium. Nice catches!
Awesome day on the water bud!
Now that is a day out fishing ! All day with a ton of fish ! Hey QQ for you Rich - what do you like fishing better down there in Florida ..live baits or lures ?
My old boss @ Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo has a 16,000 gal aquarium that had a school of lookdowns in it...I always felt kinda bad for them but the aquarium was quite beautiful. Gorgeous reef w fiber optic lighting...I spoiled those fish rotten...anyways...you catching them made me think of his tank. Tightlines life.
Oh wow that sounds like a pretty cool aquarium!
Nice catch my friend and you got enough for dinner. And yes sir Pompano extremely tasty just have to make sure and get the bloodline out thanks for the Content
All your catches and fights are fuckin amazing! 😊
Didnt know you fished the fort much, if you need some more productive areas around there hit me up. Surprised no one bitched at you near the seawall with all the no fishing signs, those fish inside are heavy pellet fed.
Nice day on the water, Rich. I would've tried for sheepshead at the location you snagged the spadefish. Just an opinion though.
Yeah, I edited it out but I tried in another very similar rocky point and it was constant baby snappers or stripped hooks.
Have you ever thought about fishing east coast around haulover canal, Sebastian inlet, mosquito lagoon are?
Don't "Look Down" It's A "Mutton" 🤪
Haha 😆 to many of those little things
Another great vid and loved that you got that last fish in the dark. There is a reason you are a fishaholic. Aren’t we all?
Just out of curiosity y U don't keep the nice fish you catch and have catch clean and cooks , with out that your videos are boring,my opinion
The spade fish chummed your kayak, LMAO
This is good to see. I know that area well and was expecting you to catch a lot more catfish. Great job on the video.
I know what I’m asking is taboo but generally where are those rock jetties located, thanks
Why go traumatize the fishes when you don't even want them for food.
That's the difference, see me fishing it's about food.
how many times can you keep saying, uhh, uhh Im doing this uh, uhh.
Great video! Always fun to see what you catch.
I used moonfish for live bait in Panama, roosters love them!
Oh really! That’s awesome. It’s a dream of mine to catch Roosterfish
If you launched near there, head up the creek at the launch under the walkway bridges, snook and tarpon like to play up in there.
Evan where is this
How come you never keep a slot snook for the table?
What net is that? I'm needing to upgrade
I watch several Florida fishing videos, and I have yet to see any of the fisherman keep a snook for the table. Please comment. Thanks, Mike
The Snook slot is tiny...28"-33....AND MUST have a Snook stamp to harvest 1 p/p ....I Always catch them under or over....🤦
The Champs kayak game is unmatched !
would love to see a rod and reel aresnal
it’s awesome that you fish there, i’m always fishing there especially around the rocks. i caught a bunch of giant snook and a 30 lb jack the other day
Is this port St Lucie?
Wow! Great video, keep catching them!
Thanks so much! Tight Lines!
Have u ever eat a moon fish I have hard they are good
Where you guys located
First! 🤓
Many baby Muhins and moon fish
Wow what an amazing day…. Those days are rare hope you get more days like this!
Thanks! Yeah me to. I may go up and around that area again today.
In all my years of fishing never seen a fish vomit like that. lol
Hahaha that vomit was hard to scrub off later.
I move to North Carolina in March and these videos have been an awesome help to see what fishings like over on the east coast and what I should adapt to. Awesome videos man keep ‘em up I love it! Need to get me some fishaholic gear!
Thanks so much Austin for commenting! You really made my day to hear you love the videos. It keeps me motivated to get back out there. Tight Lines!
@@FishAholicTV tight lines!!!
Pretty cool mate!
Yo I have like 2 dr. Juice bottle but A FREE ONE FOR $3 man can’t pass that up
496 letssss do it
I don't know that I've ever kept a snook or redfish to eat. Are they any good?
Yeah they are delicious
Where do u fish
What model Lowrance is that please. And where did you mount your transducer?
It’s the Hook 2 lowrance but it’s discontinued. Your best bet for something similar is the lowrance hook reveal 5”. Hope you find what your looking for. Tight Lines!
@@FishAholicTV THX
This music makes me feel good. About myself.
Edit: it took me forever to figure out where this is. I’ll have to try it out.
7:52 Blat!
Name of the kayak you use ?
Hobie mirage Outback
Just About a keeper. Then throws him in cooler. Lol
Hello brother
Howdy 🤙🏻
Great day for sure...
Thanks so much for watching!!!
Is this by port St Lucie?
30/40 min north of Port Saint Lucie.
Love your vids
Thanks so much!
"Just one more Cast"
we all know it :) Congrats!
Gonna be down I'm Sarasota early March I don't have a boat or means to rent one. Do you have any spots you could recommend thats accessible by walking I don't mind to travel out of Sarasota just wanna catch some good fish while I'm down!
Hey Joshua, sorry but unfortunately I have limited knowledge of the Sarasota Florida area so I don’t really think I would be of much help.
🤣lmao that Pelican at 10:50 !!!
Hi my friend great videos I enjoy watching you them 👍🏽 nice bait bucket what kind is it
Thanks so much! It’s actually just a 5 gallon bucket with a bait lid that I bought from bass pro shops. So nothing special
aren't all those mangrove snappers? what is the difference between the mutton's and mangroves?
I am no marine biologist but they do have different markings and colorations. Also generally small mutton snappers have a small black dot on their body on both sides.
♥
Brother: I enjoyed watching your videos! What specific Lawrence kayak fish finder are you using?
Cool well I’m glad you enjoy! Thanks so much for watching! The fish Finder I have is a little outdated and I believe discontinued. It’s a Lowrance fish finder and I believe the new model they make now the Hook Reveal 5” would be the one to get. It has a horizontal display instead of vertical.
Thanks!!
What type of shoes are you fishing in? We need these to fish in
Hey these are them here from Bass Pro Shops bassproshops.vzck.net/9Wqr53
They are nice and not to expensive
Thank you so much
Really pushing that Dr Juice..
It does work. I’ll give it a break from mentioning it for a bit haha 😆
moonfish and spadefish are so. good
Yeah I’ve had Moonfish. But not Spadfish. I’ll have to try it next time!
How much gear have you lost overboard out of the kayak?
Hmm 🤔 I’m 28 I’ve been kayak since I was 12 and I can only remember a livewell lid that blew of my bucket, a pair of pliers I didn’t have tethered(learned my lesson), and one rod and reel combo on one of my first attempts beaching the kayak in the ocean surf back when I was a teenager (again I learned my lesson) haha.
Rich Loved the video. Do you or can you eat Mutton, Jack Karva, and snook?
They have to be 18" those were way too small
Yeah I have, mutton snapper is extremely tasty. Snook is also good as well. But I haven’t ate jack of all. So many people have told me negative things about eating them. Also I’ve heard that they make better bait than food if you’re going for large fish.
Ended the day like a savage
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching 😎
Excellent video!!!
Thanks so much!
anyone know where this is?
Florida
@@Kenneth_Fishing I knew that 😂, I was wondering for specifics whether it was the stuart or fort pierce inlet.
Keep up the great work!
love watching these videos man. I am also a kayak angler but down in Broward/Palm Beach county fishing.
Hey bro, Im a kayak angler new to Deerfield Beach what are some good spots around here?
@@illkid-iu6us I’m newer to the kayak fishing but I have had some luck In boynton beach inlet area and west lake area in Dania Beach. In Deerfield Beach there is a mangrove island that I would target and this time of year target the docks in residential canals.
@@illkid-iu6us Peanut island area is a great spot. I think the best in South Florida. Keys are good.. everglades city/chokoloskee is good too.
Awesome! I’ve kayak fished quite a few times down by you! It’s a pretty cool area. Thanks so much for watching!
@@nforrest6508 Thanks for the tip! I will def try these spots soon. Would be cool to make new friends w similar interests are there any local kayak fishing clubs? I got a Native Slayer 10 and target anything that bites!
Ate my first pompano a few months ago and they're absolutely DELICIOUS!!
Oh man, thanks for giving me the extra motivation. I may go try to catch some today
@@FishAholicTV I wouldn't know how to do that from a kayak though 🤔 I was surf fishing with a custom made pompano rig. The big ones hit it right before sundown.
I haven't had any luck with the sheepshead yet recently but did catch 2 bull black drum Monday and two 27 inch red's the week before. In south louisiana.
Awesome!!! Sounds like you are on some epic fishing still! Good luck with the Sheepshead. Small crabs are definitely the best.
🤣 spade fish puking up on u like a sloppy drunk 🎣🤙🏼
Up chucking Spadefish - that's a new one. Great Vid Rich
Thanks Richard! Tight Lines!
So, he's be throwing up on everything scary now, hahaha. That next Snook was pretty nice.
Thank you for the release on that snook. You’re a sportsman and a good steward.
They're offseason until Feb.
@@evanbuhr534 depends were you are located I’m sure ;)
@@MJ-km3qz Right where he's fishing they're off season
The fish through up, best part ever 😂😂 7:53
You think so..
North of North bridge on the west side
You never stand up while fishing?
The kayak he uses isn’t made for standing up in and could risk him losing his gear to a tip over
@@douglaspeters2567 bruh I fish the same yak and stand every time, know what your talking about
@@PootyTangGaming I do know what I’m talking about it’s not made for standing but you can stand up in it it’s just recommend by the manufacturer to not do so but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn what you talking about also it’s kayak
@Douglas Peters bud I've been 3 miles out if you can't stand on these without an issue I'd go to physical therapy or get a stand up bar
@@PootyTangGaming it doesn’t matter I’m just saying some people prefer to play it safe especially in deep water like the coast IM NOT SAYING YOU CANT THE MANUFACTURER SUGGEST NOT TO DO SO
Fish A Holic! 1mo1mo
