I’m just surprised they didn’t go with the method that came with instructions. I assumed they would have jumped at the chance for the stools to a perfect resin mold of their butts.

You should consider using dental alginate to copy the shape of your tush then use plaster to capture the negative and then make a silicone mold to apply the final tush shape to the razzo.
Having previously having been a dental assistant, that was my first thought.
Yea I was wondering if that was the way they were going to do. Alginate is so fun and squishy they would have had a blast
The cursed furniture saga continues!!! This is the best phase you guys have ever been in. Hand pencil holder, leg table, butt stools, butt cat bed, soon enough you'll have a whole house full of cursed furniture 😂

@@meepbeep7928I think she edits everything for the main channel and they have some hired editors for the second channel and the gaming channel.
For next time: cast your butt (or whatever) in plaster (the way they do it for movies/etc., either with the use of alginate or silicone). Use the plaster copy to imprint on resin/razzo. You can spray the plaster copy with mold release and leave until resil/razzo cures - leaving you with a perfect imprint.

The silicone would just make a replica of their butts, to make the stool they need a "hole" that fits their butts perfectly. If they used silicone they would have to make two molds so it would be a lot more work.

People did use to carve buttdentations into chairs for a long time! I think we just lost that because of industrialisation. The process of building a chair was automated and depersonalised, but the one of weaving fabrics was too, which made pillows easier to make and cheaper to put on chairs. That’s my guess at least ^^’

Really loved the Raycon ad spot Katelyn montage. It reminded me of the small scenes used as transition cuts in early 2000's TV. They'd be really funny used as transitions in normal videos and not just ads. As always stellar editing :D

SIt on alginate to produce a butt mould from which you make a plaster of paris positive - that can sit in the stool mould while the razzo sets. Bonus - you have moulded butts as an art piece!!!!

Fun fact! Making the terrazzo bits out of the sheets of Razzo is a similar technique to make sprinkles, but with thin sheets of royal icing! Maybe there’s a world in which you guys make a look alike of some of your projects but with food?!

I think it would be really cool to see you guys make starched crochet snowflakes! All i know about the process is you crochet a snowflake (or any shape really) with fine string and then... starch it? Its the starching part im really unsure of lol.

You should look up how they make custom fit seats for Indy car drivers. They use a bag filled with foam balls coated with resin. It’s pretty interesting and I think it would scale down for a project like this perfectly.

A thing that I have learned from a friend is that the advertisement in the video for that set of headphones are either the best set you have had or are the worst set you have😊
The stool look much less disturbing than I was imagining. I don’t immediately think “wow that is specifically the imprint of someone’s butt”. They look more like some modern designer trying to make a saddle shaped stool or something. Plus the faux terrazzo looks premo. Good job!

When ever I feel lower back pain (maybe once per month if even that; I recommend regular exercise, running, stretching to prevent it) I do the "Supine Twist" on both sides a few times which always takes the pain away. The spine should pop a few times. Make sure your knee hits the floor. If your spine doesn't pop for some reason, you're too stiff, relax your body, make it limp while doing it. Hope it helps.
