It doesn't matter which is the southernmost city, what matters is which is the city at the end of the world and this is Ushuaia. Jules Verne invented the End of the World with his novel. The lighthouse at the end of the world ("Le phare du bout du monde") is a novel by French writer Jules Verne. The San Juan de Salvamento Lighthouse (also known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World) is located northeast of the island of the States, province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands, in Patagonia, south of Argentina.2 It is the oldest lighthouse in the Argentine Republic and the first to be built near southern waters. Jules Verne's novel The Lighthouse at the End of the World gave the lighthouse international recognition as well as its nickname.

Harriet and I enjoy Argentina every time we visit, We have cousins who live just outside of Buenos Aires. Ushuaia is beautiful. The views of the mountains are priceless, picture postcard.
Stamping your passport is a no no. You can add the page as a removable insert . That's ok. I know that Matt is not a fish eater. Molly , do you like fish ? Next time you should go to de National Park and take the train. You need to get the tickets in advance. I think it is the most amazing place in the world.

Next time you're in Ushuaia you should try the southern king crab, it's caught right there in the Beagle Channel too and is the city's signature dish. And by the way, I think you made a mistake, the Irish pub in Ushuaia is called Dublin and looks like a proper pub. Also, I believe they do serve Guiness beer there.
We don’t eat sea food, that’s why we didn’t try it. There was no Guinness on the menu which is why Matt got the other stout

Actually, since 2019 there is a Chilean city a bit further south, called Puerto Williams, but both actually share the title of the southernmost cities in the world
One of her has the title in order to encourage the tourism and the another one is the real souternmost city or place
