How you get done all that you do with all those kids is beyond me. I get tired and out of breath just watching you do it all!
Delightfully FULL AND PRODUCTIVE day❤️‼️
God bless you. I don’t know how you do all that you do. With 7 children a home to take care of. You’ve got cooking to do 7 days a week n then you have your blogs n pod cast. Where do you find the energy to keep going? I forgot you’ve got farm animals n a garden. Your amazing lady n I admire you tremendously. Enjoyed the video very much. ♥️😊👍
I LOVE this blog - just an everyday blog style, new farmhouse changes, making beautiful meals with your family. This is why we love your channel ♥️ Thanks for all the resources and tips - gems in this one for sure.
I don't even know how I came across your channel but I am enjoying it so much. Your lifestyle is so inspiring and if I was 40 yrs. younger I would be all in. I do enjoy gardening plus love going on the hunt for unique items to make my house a home. My husband and I have done many renos and projects in every home we've lived in. So, in this chapter of my life, I am embracing as much as I can on a slower and smaller scale and loving it!
I'm out of breath just watching you. Whew!!! 😊
Interesting video, here in the UK we would dry our sheets etc outside in the sunshine, I have often wondered why in the US you do not do that, it uses natures electricity. Thank you for your share 🙂
Your pantry is so beautiful! I am loving your channel.
I know you hear this all of the time, Lisa, but I don’t know how you do it all!! 😱 It is truly amazing!
Lordy how do you do this!?! It wears me out just watching but you are very inspiring. I’m 63 now and it seems like yesterday I was your age and had so much energy. Keep up the good work. Your family is charming
I love this "off the cuff" sort of day!! Thanks for taking me along.
Lisa, your new home is changing all the time. I enjoy seeing your changes, how your days roll. You are a great mother, wonderful wife, and personally find your keep at it attitude refreshing. You take your time and show how home making can be done on a budget. with a flavor of new motherhood. 👏 💐 to you for all your efforts 👌
You’re an amazing stay home mom.
Awesome video!! I loved seeing you just kicking the bedsheets down the steps lol lol

A most enjoyable DITL! Packed full of info & shared skills. Eagerly anticipating future makeovers as you continue to nurture your family.
Wow! You tire me out watching all to do in a day. Thought my day was jam packed. Kudos
Lisa, enjoyed your “unplanned” day. I had to laugh that you too run out of salt..it happens to me all the time. Liz🌸
The books: Foxfire for kids. Very cool.
I learn so much from you Lisa. Thank you for sharing your life, teaching others what you have learned! It is a great blessing
Love those white plates so much! And, also love your new picnic table outside..... the black & white umbrella is really lovely.... must be so nice to eat outside now - - whenever we eat outside as a family, it just feels so freeing... : )
This was great fun!
Lisa, you discover the greatest finds on market place.
I really enjoyed this video ! You are such a wonderful home maker and mom ! That was really enjoyable to watch 🥰
I love that you still kept the real life of the baby crying in the background
Those skills books for kids sound amazing!!
What traditional/heritage style cooking books would you recommend? I've been on the hunt for antique cook books at my local antique shop and online. I love your style of cooking and baking! Your "from scratch" approach to cooking and living seems so old worldly and so beautiful. Just the way great grandma did it! ❤💪
Thank you for your concise tutorial on egg water glassing. I have watched sooo many videos or read tutorials and it has scared me that I would do something wrong. Your explanation, however, has given me the confidence I need to go ahead and give it a try. Adding it to all the awesome Farmhouse on Boone tutorials that are ALWAYS awesome! Thank you Lisa!
Great tutorial on water glassing eggs! I haven't done it yet but have everything I need to get it done! Now I'm motivated and inspired! Thank you!
Love you and your family! Blessings!
Enjoyed.
I so enjoy watching your children helping everyone else, making your family a true cohesive and Christ honoring home.
Absolutely obsessed with those beds + quilts ❤️
Hey Lisa one way I use up a lot of pork chops is by making a huge batch of Chili Verdie soup that can also be used in tacos or burritos.
1. Thinly slice or cube chops and dredge in seasoned flour then caramelize in oil in batches in large pot. Set aside
2. Slice or cube carrots, different colored bell peppers, mild peppers, onions, garlic, tomatillos, jalapenos, (just use a lot of what you love) split in half and roast half in oil with seasonings then blend in a blender set aside. Add the onions to pot and caramelize, add garlic and the rest of vegetables scraping the bottom of pan to get the bits up. Add whatever Mexican spices you love. Add several cans of chopped none spicey green chilies. Add several cans of tomatoes that you love. Let simmer till everything is soft add the rest of your ingredients. I let mine simmer for at least 30 min. on low or longer so everything melted together. I normally make a huge stock pot of this and freeze it in family portions for quick meals. This is hands down our favorite Mexican dish. It's very delicious and you can make it the way you like it 😋
I forgot to say to make it a soup I add bone broth 😋
I love your living room. very pleasing to the eye
thank you!
So nice. Lots of work and never done but looks so cozy and inviting. Farmhouse living. Family, love experiences and always learning. God bless your family.
Would love to see more home tours on how you’ve incorporated new finds. Love using vintage/antique pieces.
Hi! I looked for the link to the Victory Garden books, but didn’t see them. Will you share that?
I thought I was the only person who kicked the laundry down the stairs - I am not so mad as I thought I was (PD also love the new beds and the duvets
Same here! 🤣
Nope, you are not alone, it's a real thing.
I roll it down the stairs in big bags haha my sons love to do it too!
My mum used to fling them out the windows😂 the washer was in the shed next to the house
I also kick laundry down the stairs!
Great video, Lisa.
Love love that I found your UA-cam channel. Just need something else to watch besides all the other crazy stuff to get swept away with. I have two boys. I regret I believed a lie and didn’t have lots of kids and a different lifestyle. I pray that my boys find a good wife who loves God, loves her husband, raises kids and is concerned with keeping a home rather than chasing a career. I am amazed and inspired by you.
I love it that you use chicken feet ! I would hide mine so fam wouldn’t know . Lol
Welcome to free arms :)
You are one busy Lady!!!Your vision in your home, kitchen , garden
sewing curtains is always evolving !
You & your family make living in the Farm look so enticing! ❤️🫶🏻
Lisa, you know how to pack in a day! Found my own porcelain salt container in consignment shop for $14. Now, will check out the tub salt. Many thanks. Really enjoyable video!
Include the coffee recipe please for those who don’t have instagram. Also missed the link for the kits for gardening with children.
I could watch you all day Lisa, so refreshing. Your children are great!
Just wanted to say, you look amazing! And, As always, I enjoy your videos.
In the porch how about a pretty blue ceiling that would be a nod to the former porch.
Your videos like this are never long enough for me lol is there anything you can't do! Your awesome!
How funny...my grandmother used chicken feet for all her broths. Ppl think it's gross unless you grow up with it. They had a chicken ranch, so there you go. Lol!
Waterglassing tips: Don't inhale the powdered lime. Measure your quart of water without the lime, and dont stick your hand in the solution.
I learn something new every time I watch your wonderful channel!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love those books so cute!❤️
How exciting about the new dresser and bathroom update?!
We are going to have to try risotto soon! Can't believe we've never had it! The beds are beautiful!
You deserve an holiday
I absolutely adore everything about your home and property. It is so beautiful. You can feel the love surrounding it! Take care and God bless this precious family! 😀❤️
Those oak beds are just perfect❤❤❤
Would you list the site for the farmhouse books for kids please 💕
Do you have a link to Cheyenne’s page/site? Also, where can I find the books?
Love this, getting things done! Have a great day
My grandmother on my dads side had a house from the 1860s and had a room like that yours out back, had been added on later on, lots of windows, it had her washer and dryer, and all her canned goods. She called it her canning room. I just thought that was interesting. ❤
Love the boys beds and the books 🥰. What is Yoki coffee? What’s in it? It looks so delicious!
Loved the new beds, gorgeous.
Love, love, love the beds❤️
This is one of your best vlogs ever, love the updates on your farmhouse, the back entry will looks awesome when completed 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Strawberry short cake looked scrumptious!
Enjoyable as always 💕
Wonderful vlog Lisa 😊.
LOVE the beds!
Did I miss where the quilts are from? They are so pretty and what I have been looking for.
What a busy day on the farm! Those salads look delish! I think tomorrow I’ll fix that for my lunch. I still have a few strawberries coming in! Your bed finds are awesome! Many years of use! I can’t wait to see how your egg preservation method works. So ingenious! Best channel ever!!! 🫶🏻🥰
Glad you put the tuffed coffee table back in the front room! A wooden tray with a couple books on it would look nice!😄
LISA YOU KNOW I love your style of decor. I LOVE THE CHILDREN'S ROOMS AND I can't wait for a tour. GLAD the baby is self sleeping. SHARED TO THE BURGH
What a wonderful video! Thank you!
those beds look perfect for making blanket forts!
Great video. I actually love the floor in the mudroom
Slice the pork chops up for stir fry or Korean rice bowls! Or marinate and throw on the grill!
Or chop in to cubes and cook on kabobs
Enjoyed watching! LOVE the twin beds you found! We love strawberry picking too! We usually make strawberry jam by boiling the strawberries and sugar. That’s it! So good!! 😋 (I know there are other recipes but we keep it simple.) 🍓
Blessings from Ireland Lisa. 🇮🇪 🙏❤
beautiful bed 🎉
The beds are gorgeous
Great video!
I would not say lazy. Busy busy busy. Feeding little mouths and scratch cooking your allowed, no apology needed. By the way you look great! Love the little one when wiped his hands on the back of his clothes. He reminds me of my Robert when that age. Peace!
I really need to plant lettuce...yours looks amazing!
I do have several beds of strawberry plants...started with one raised bed..now we have 3..by next year 4..boy have they multiplied!..
Love your strawberry vinaigrette..looks delicious!
Now I am HUNGRY...I need a keto strawberry shortcake!
I had the same issue with our pig harvest- so many pork chops! I used most of the tenderloin/roasts for carnita meat! Yum.
I don't know if they would fit into your or exterior but storm windows make a huge huge difference in the warm of a room. And they are not hard to have somebody build. They don't have any pain or light or malians just a big frame and one piece of glass and your room will stay so much warmer.
What backpack are you wearing towards the end? It is beautiful and it looks functional!
I noticed in your last meal video and this one you are using a different BBQ sauce. Did you find one you like better than the Date Lady?
The antique twin beds are to die for. I live in a one-bedroom apt and that style would be perfect for my bedroom. Off to marketplace to search. :)
Lisa, you are phantastic
Your favorite quilt is the Hunters Star pattern😊
My grandpa used to make salmon patties. Soo good. We would dip them in ketchup. 😋
Good morning! Did I miss where to find those great books for children? My grandson is 8. Do you think that is a good age to start them? All your children are so precious. 💞
I saw them individually on amazon. But I was hoping Lisa would put a direct link to all of the items available like the kits.
Those twin beds are absolutely gorgeous! Just curious….I noticed you are cooking hard boiled eggs on the stove vs. the instant pot. So much easier to cook and peel. Just an f.y.I….❤
Yes, I love them in the instant too...
I love watching you and your family! Especially cooking! I’ve been wondering with all the meat and vegetables you have, do you ever do videos of canning them? And what about canning pickled eggs? My husband loves them and it’s currently canning season here, so is that something you could show us how to do?
We once painted the floor of our porch in a diamond pattern with two colors (we used cream and taupe). It turned out delightful and really dressed up and separated the space.
Might be pretty in the cement floor you’re thinking of painting.
I've cracked a bad egg before and can confirm YOU WILL KNOW.
