As a young lad i used to be obsessed with just aimlessly riding to rhe edge of the map just to be catapulted back haha. I remember low key hoping that just one time id be allowed to keep going endlessly past the edge! Never happened though F
hahah me too. I even remember one day that I managed to go up the edge and saw the begining of a road that disappeared in the horizon. I though I could follow it but nope. Game launched my ass when I tried to get close to it :D

When I was young, I remember looking at this game and being like : "the graphics are sooooo good ! It's so smooth looking !" Yeah because 3DFX was a new thing back in the day. It featured the antialiasing we are used to by now. But back then, not having pixelated 3D model was a novelty (basically any game with a pop up 3D FX at the beginning was guaranteed to have antialiasing provided you had an adequate GPU)

Oh man this game made me fall madly in love with dirtbiking. One of the first games I played that truly made me wanna go out and do it in real life. People always say video games will make you stay inside but honestly they give me a lot of inspiration to get out and do the real thing.
Playing Super Mario Sunshine would often make me want to go swimming in summer. Such good water effects. Games are often more fun when you do the activity portrayed in them in real life. :)

I specifically remember playing the game map that this one showswith the snowy mountains and the lodges, an always tried jumping off them all, there was also another map, must've been a farm map or something like that, becasue there was this big barn house and when you drove close to it, it played music. It's so strange after such a long time of looking and searching to find this Game, I've finally found it after so long haha, it's really nice to see it. I'mma defo have a go at playing again soon as I'm almost certain my dad still has the game CD along with many others,
Insane...31 now. We had a computer right next to our kitchen. Black microsoft joystick. I couldn't go on the internet because we weren't allowed to back then. So I could play this or rollercoaster tycoon, or I had this free Atlantis game from like a cereal box I think. Backyard Sports and I think Oregon trail. It almost feels like a different life but the memories are so vivid when shown in video form.
Whenever I would go too far and have the rider and bike shot back into the map like that, always made me pi$$ my pants everytime. Good to see that 22 years later nothings changed and it still did that to me just watching the vid loool
Being able to download new custom made skins and maps blew my mind as a kid and kept me playing for a long time. I even had a level modelled after the music video for Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood

I remember my dad messing with me on my birthday around 2000 saying "your grades haven't been so good lately so we decided to buy you nothing but books for your birthday" after me sitting there for a good minute looking pissed he was like jk here you go, handing me the big box copy of MCM2 and a crappier game named Scooter Pro, MCM2 introduced me to graphic design as I discovered a website of people posting different skins for bikes and riders which fascinated me, I uploaded a few crappy skins but they got some good downloads, I wonder if they still exist somewhere
