Actually, one occasion one of the player said you win after his bet was called after the river. The caller immediately threw away his hand. The bettor said he won because the caller mucked his hand. Floorman came over and heard the story, at the end the guy who said, "you won" loss the pot. You can not declare verbally something to cause the other player to act to your advantage. For instance, you can not say I'll kill you if you call or I have 2 & 7 off suite and I'm bluffing you when you don't have it.
Some casinos have rules that forbid people talking about their cards until after the hand is finished, so it’s not unreasonable to complain about someone discussing their cards during a hand. The fact that he said “I trusted him” though makes him sound like an idiot. He should’ve just asked if discussing your cards is allowed. At the very least, saying you have a full house when you don’t is some hilarious second grade etiquette, and if it’s a decent card room, doing it repeatedly could get you relegated from the gentleman’s table to the scoundrels table….
That is possible in Hold'em Poker ..when 1 player is holding one ace and the other is holding 2 aces and they are sharing the community ace in the middle..that makes 3 aces vs 2 aces.
Lol agreed - this is a clear case of hate the player - it’s the player whining about the game, and carrying on like a little girl - the game is blameless here.
Not being a gambler I trust your knowledge, but I'd have though outright lying might be a bit off, if he smiled and said 'oh nice' or something, but to give specific and blatantly false info is a bit off IMHO, obviously if he said 'there's a bear behind you, run!' it would be wrong, because it affects the game by total misrepresentation, rather than true sportsmanship! Personally, I can see why he's angry, but I guess, there was nothing illegal done, bloke just needs to suck it up and put it down to experience!
@@orionraine9597 he is giving you proper poker etiquette as is done at the professional level. Bluffing is different from outright blatant lying. This is similar to what Tony G did to Phil Helmuth when he lied about not looking at his hand. Bluffing is leading the other person to believe a lie that you have been telling by your betting and mannerisms (aka Hollywooding) where as saying out something untrue like 'Dude just muck your hand, I got quads'' when in reality you don't is not considered bluffing, it just considered bad sleazy behaviour. It's not illegal but it definitely ensures that you don't get invited to professional or high stakes games again.
What's funny to me about this, is that I'll say exactly the same thing when I'm looking for a call! Other players don't usually believe me for some reason.
As a dealer, I have to hear the loud sound of dozens upon dozens of people shuffling chips simultaneously for hours until your head feels like it's going to explode. This is definitely not ASMR bruh.
“I got a six, a five, a jack, a four, and an 8… I win!” “What do you mean you win?” “Because I WIN!” “THIS IS BULLSHIT! Every time different cards he still wins!”
"I trusted him. He lied to me." Like the man said in the video, it's a bluff, lol. That's how the game is played. That's why it's not just pure luck, but takes skill too.
Which is why the people there would absolutely let you play at their table. Let the fish swim, and you'd be one of those fish for sure. Aside from that, nothing is more annoying than a bitchfest at the poker table. Or any table for that matter. Everyone there wants to play, not listen to another player debate with a pit boss over his own fold
If someone tells you they have you beat, there’s only two possible reasons why. One, they don’t have you beat, but want to convince you to fold. Or two, they do have you beat, but want to convince you they’re bluffing. In no world are they telling you for your sake.

Another player objected to that, because I didn't officially say I was GOING to raise, I just asked COULD I raise. The floor had to be called to see if my raise was binding. Bunch of old man coffees being babies.
I stopped playing at casinos because of how petty and pathetic people are at the table and the ridiculous arguments that go on. People watch poker on TV and think that they know everything about the game and the floor people running the game are no better.
No brainer; No rule had to be checked. The minute you push your arm forward with a single chip, and drop it, that is a raise (or call, whatever your intentions...)

Love that you use that word
Haha. "A fool and his money will soon part ways"
"Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half-hour at the table, then you are the sucker."

Easy prey for more money
Which is why the people there would absolutely let you play at their table. Let the fish swim, and you'd be one of those fish for sure. Aside from that, nothing is more annoying than a bitchfest at the poker table. Or any table for that matter. Everyone there wants to play, not listen to another player debate with a pit boss over his own fold
Some say polite..I'd say they were in shock from the sheer retardedness
Would make a good verse on his tombstone: "he even trusted pokerplayers."
If someone tells you they have you beat, there’s only two possible reasons why. One, they don’t have you beat, but want to convince you to fold. Or two, they do have you beat, but want to convince you they’re bluffing.
In no world are they telling you for your sake.
