Yeah, I agree with others ref the break... Rebar, best sort for the conditions, and fill the break using concrete... In any case, it still helped, even with the break... A positive... Ref disappointment... Vikes game was disappointing, but lots of season left and time to fix weak points... I'd rather be 5-2 versus 2-5, which all the pundits predicted... I'm used to the pain after watching them for 55+ years, lol!!! TC, and have a super week! SKOL! 👍😎👍
Yes sir, I’m used to the pain. I believe I was 6 years old when I noticed them. They were 5 years old. Fran T. and Joe Kapp I believe it’s a desire of great players to play in a fair weather area. They do have to live around the stadium and some would rather live in Miami, Dallas, Tampa Bay SanFran. Etc. The broken wall is still drifting every tide. No funds right now so after Christmas I will see if it’s salvageable. Hope the Vikes can right the ship. I’m sure this all leaves doubt in every fans heart. Fertile ground for a miraculous Super Bowl win. 😊
Yes I agree with the first guy I would just fill in the crack. If there's away to get access in there and add some rebar by drilling and filling with epoxy I would think that would be better. Also higher compression strength concrete along with fibers to fill in the crack. I'm glad you're there ahead of me to test out so I know what to do when I build mine.
@@jimross364 Yes, you know what not to do now. I would say thicker, deeper and re - enforced with rebar. I think I would just pour solid concrete in forms if I had enough money.
@@natesquestyouknowthatsrigh8269 Looking this morning, it has drifted and sank a little more. There’s nothing I can do right now. Budget is getting ready for Christmas.
Hi, buddy, such a shame - all that hard work and money - but at least your wall / steps are good - just let the broken wall settle and then you can decide any repairs - stay safe

Yes,I was thinking wrong about the steel. I believe that wall was around 6’ deep. Should have went 10. Also I think solid concrete would be stronger than rip-rap. If we don’t make mistakes we are not doing anything. 👍

Um, you should see the dirty beaches in the US; at least there is no needles, no hospital basura on this beach! This beach is ok and clean, but man Mother Nature is cleaning up! All that wind!

It's still an engineering marvel. You won that round with your main goal holding. 🎉
Thank you ! It was a relief to see all those waves lapping on the fixture instead of the fence. 👍
Looks like a little need for rebar . Maybe the Fiberglass type that does not corrode !
I was thinking of encasing steel in solid concrete, but deeper than the usual 2”.
@@62tofreedom51 Use rebar next time
base should be as wide as the height next time ,be safe !

Sorry about the break, Rodney! Sometimes Mother Nature is a mother. I still consider it a win for you tho.

Even though it out of shape it seems to be doing its job. Just fill in the break, nothing else you can do.

dont overthink , just fill in the crack , your wall did good

No steel and not dug in deep enough. Ours are 6 to 10 foot deep so it can't undermine
