late 90's early 2000's bands. Deftones, Drowning Pool, Flaw, Godsmack, Mushroomhead, Soil, Staind
Sinner by drowning pool is still one of my fav albums ever
Reading the name of all those bands makes me feel old haha. I saw them all in the 90s. In fact, I was able to see Godsmack before they released their first album.
Flaw is SO underrated! ❤
Was always a Type O Negative fan myself , as well as pretty much all that ! 45yr old here
Flaw was seriously underrated and never got the love they deserved...
Also, throwback song Sevendust Denial!
You're a good dad for subjecting your child to nu-metal. Thanks for the fitted hats Fred.
Need to get some more Nu-Metal on here!
Limp Bizkit was high school for me too 🤣
Don't forget, there's another band that Wes Borland formed after he left Limp Bizkit for awhile. The band is called Black Light Burns. It gives off Queen of the Stone Age feels
I love Camryn because I looked like her back in the mid 90’s -the early 2000’s and still do sometimes when I’m going to a concert or just feel like it
It was 98 degrees outside. The concert was held on a retired air force base soooo no trees. Your tent was touching 3 other tents and by 8 am was so hot you had to get out of it. By the second day the Porta Potts had overflown and flooded several sections of tents and fresh water fountains no longer worked. That night they set the semi on fire... that's when I opted out for a hotel and shower and missed the last day. No reentry allowed of course.
I can only imagine! The documentary was crazy!
They still open festivals today and are still just as good
So glad this got thrown on my recommended. Not just the song but you two. You guys are awesome! Subbed for sure!
Thank you!
Pantera Live in Moscow, Powerman 5000, White Zombie, Sepultura, Fear Factory, just a few.
I love it. My gen knows how to go hard, always did
My wife and I were talking about this recently… About how all of the music when we were younger was so angry! 🤣
Soulfly - Jump.
OKAYYY Camryn - you are slaying in this! Can you please share what makeup you’re wearing? the highlight on your nose is so good. your fits are always fire! you should start putting where you got your outfit pieces in the comments.
Im damn near 40 and i still love moshpit, I might be "old" but i never got old, aside from catching the occasional crowd surfers boot to he head (a tall person problem...lol) the mosh pits are great... they even have a code of ethics... thd problems arise when those arent followed.
I am so glad to hear your experiences. from thailand ^_^
Awesome video, guys!
Since you mentioned older Meshuggah, I would kill the see Cam's face with Lethargica by Meshuggah. That breakdown is filthy, especially the live version on the Ophidian Trek
Korn Blind 1999 and compare to later like 2019 or so... even the Slipknot 2009 Downlaod footage! Both are cool ideas!
Manson on Jon Stewart 1995 maybe too?
Dude you and your daughter do great reactions
Thank you so much!
87 here LB my time
Darwins Waiting Room, Relative Ash, 40 Below Summer, Primer 55, Nonpoint and Snot.
You have to see the LB set in Lollapalooza Argentina this year. It's a complete madness!!
There’s a band I just found called papercut that has a new sound but does the whole limp biztik thing as well. Highly suggest them, love the reactions too.
You should check out Rage against The Machines Bulls on Parade from that same Woodstock 99
I love how that documentary seemed like it was chastising the behavior but it just seemed like an awesome time with great bands
Yeah I didn't really understand that, like it wasn't their fault except for the crowd and staff of Woodstock that the entire thing went to shit, the bands are just there to perform not to help people calm down bc they're going crazy, the people who put on Woodstock should have been smarter 💀
I’m 38 and been a metal head my whole life, my father was a metal head we took turns buying concert tickets taking each other to our fav bands concerts, any way one band me and my dad both LOVED was machine head. Songs in particular: Davidian And. Take my scars Two of my fav songs by them
I forgot about Machine Head… So good!
And as others have said, you should definitely play some Powerman 5000.
Spineshank, Static-X, GWAR, Murderdolls, Insane Clown Posse, Cannibal Corpse, Helloween
Will second the suggestion of Mushroomhead for the throwback series! Both for their sick tunes and I think that Camryn would dig their style!
Also shoutout for the chiefs hat! You guys from the KC area?
Heck yeah, Mushroomhead!! And we are Missouri peeps, I went to college in KC
Check out such a hidden gem of a band called Byzantine! Trust me, you won't be let down.
Just met Matt at my music store and HAD to follow. I, too, am a Limp Bizkit Fan. Would love to see a react to Anthrax - I’m The Man, Marilyn Manson - Beautiful People, Ministry - Just One Fix, The Prodigy - Firestarter, MynLife With the Thrill Kill Kult - After The Flesh to name a few. Lol
Heck yeah! Welcome!! -Matt
Taproot. Really good band that not too many people know about.
Poem slapped when I was a teenager.
@@kayayaestheticPoem was a banger!
Static X for sure, and Sevendust is criminally underrated imo. Splender and Stained for some slower vibes as well. Lords of Acid and ICP if you're going for shock value... New sub here, I look forward to the journey!
yall gotta check out electric callboy its referred to as party core and hypa hypa is the song to start with also they are a band that you must watch the videos for trust me lol
Kittie! Brackish and Paper Doll.
Powerman 5000, Adema, nonpoint, static x, Korn, Disturbed, Mudvain.
Mushroomhead
Ok. A few ideas from 2000. Cradle of Filth- Her ghost in the fog, In Flames - Trigger, Children of Bodom - angels don't kill and Oops!… I Did It Again.
I just saw Limp Bizkit and Kittie at LTL 2023 in KY. Break Stuff slapped, but the rest of their set was lackluster. Check out the line-up for Louder Than Life 2024 because there are a bunch of my high school era bands. Korn, Sponge, Staind, Disturbed, Hed P.E., Saliva, Drowning Pool, etc.
Guys! You gotta do a reaction to the new *NSYNC song “Paradise”.
Insta-like after that intro haha!
Their whole performance is worth a series of its own!
Limp Bizkit Get A Life is a good forgotten one.
N9ne Inch Nails Closer
Beneath the Sky "7861" that most wont know. "Last call" is good too. Their lead singer Joey Nelson was considered for Suicide Silence when Mitch Lucker sadly past away.
I love 7861!
Sorry if they've been suggested. Rammstein and Fear Factory, specifically Resurrection by Fear factory.
Nice!! Was a big Fear Factory guy back in the day. Saw them in KC with Slipknot when I was in college.
JOHN OTTO - I don't know why it took me this long to get to understanding Otto. Super solid drummer.
you awesome duet ❤🎉
This moment broke Limp Biscuit... people raped and mugged in the crowd, and the band got the blame... damn.
Oh geez, I feel myself in the late 1990s watching her!!!
counterfeit is my personal favorite. so raw
I was at woodstock, I'd do it again.
I thought the studio version was way better, plus the video rocks.
Given the time frame, so many genres were top of mind. If we are sticking with rock/metal, Disturbed, Godsmack, Sevendust, Mudvayne, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden... I could go on for days.
I couldn’t be there just watching it gives me anxiety 😂 but love this song!!❤️🎶🤘🏻
TOTALLY AGREE!!
Adema - unstable here my suggestion and the singer is the brother of J Davis korn singer :D
Pantera - this love - ozzfest .... As far the shirtless thing goes 😂
Oh man El Nino...I still have one of their big ones on my music rotation.
React to TOOL
nuff said
Squeak squeaker uh squeak squeaken
This guy gets it!! 🤣
@@MattandCamrynReact damn right. I know all the Disney and whatnot having children range from 4-17. Lol. Kronk is just awesome. Nobody but Patrick Warburton could've done Kronk
Please check out NIL8 from my hometown of Springfield Illinois, they have been around since the 80’s when they were teenagers and in the 90’s they played with a lot of the big alternative and punk bands, the tracks I suggest are Shallow Holes,Green Eggs and Ham, Medicine Man,Their cover of Tainted Love, Basement Show,Political Suicide, and Northwest Incinerator
I didn't think you were ever going to stop talking and get to the video. Lol
🤣… sometimes we do a good job and sometimes we ramble ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Early Papa Roach ,Static X,Orgy,Placebo,Spineshanks, Evanescence a think that Camryn might like the aesthetics of those bands, man I'm from Matt's generation and I feel so old, these songs and bands are a nostalgia hit, but I still feel just as angry as I did back then, maybe now I'm measured the consequences of the decisions I make, not like back then, anyway it's interesting to see how someone from another generation reacts to music that used to be popular in our times Y2K ha
Nine inch nails at one of the 90s Woodstock festivals (94), the one where they got into a fight backstage to hype themselves up so they are all covered in mud. Happiness in slavery is particularly explosive.
Late 90s early 2000s Metal
Static X
Sevendust
Drowning Pool
Papa Roach
Killswitch Engage
Disturbed
Flaw
Freebird LIVE Oakland
I think Cam is cute and I love the whole look
I just saw them last night here in Argentina. I can assure you if you watch videos from last night, is pretty much similar to this. It was CRAZY. One of my best concerts till the moment, event after all this time
Their dad is a cool one. 👍👍😎😎

I'd love to see some you guys reacting to Korn, Deftones or Static-X.
Agreed!
Il nino gets my vote. Do God save us
Limp Bizkit was a scrape goat of the greedy corporations that organized and set the prices at Woodstock 99
Fear Factory.
What Will BECOME!!
@@MattandCamrynReact No.
Linchpin.
Want throwback there is Korn powerman 5000 Godsmack and a bunch of others that I can't think of
All great suggestions!!! Man, I haven't heard Godsmack in YEARS!
We had to anything Suicidal Tendencies, or better yet infectious grooves. I suggest violent and funky, and funky infectious grooves
Do the roar lol
The band Clutch bro

woah shes cute
What is the name of the song in the background?
Under our talking or during the intro montage?
I'm just one person but yeah I would watch a reaction to weird cat music from the internet
Maybe that will be the new niche thing we are known for 🤣🤣
hope to see a react to ritual by tdwp< 3
Fred sounded a bit winded in the video. That's one reason why I don't particularly like live versions lol. Try listening to the studio recorded version. It's like day and night
Hola, reaccionen a Indians de Anthrax en Chile on Hell, quedaran locos
Static X, Seether too add
Definitely need some Static-X… but so many good ones to choose from!
@@MattandCamrynReact the Only, I am the one or anything but this. You are right too many
Hatebreed if you haven't!
Maaaaan, I loved me some Hatebreed back in college!
New** Motionless in White ... *older deftones slipknot ..***abit of a swerve Depeche Mode
90’s and early 2000’s were the best for nu metal. No bands out now come close to korn, deftones, bizkit and the rest

Whoop whoop.
