The women who critised Yijun's dish must feel so bad when she see this clip. I feel sorry for him, but i feel sorry for her too. People might criticize her for this. If she was told beforehand that the dish is for kids, she might comment about it differently even without knowing who cook it.
To the couple who criticized Yijun's dish: You did the right thing. You were objective and you answered honestly. Yijun and his dad went to that restaurant for the purpose of getting feedback from people they don't know, and what you said about Yijun's dish will help him in the future and expand his horizons more. To Yijun: You did well, you were very brave to face them and still explain to them what your dish was. Truly you're a gifted child. I'm sure your food was delicious and I know that you'll create more tasty and fun recipes in the future.
But I still appreciate that his dad is letting him gain more social skills and develop his behaviour more ☺️except for this episode his dad is a great parent
I can feel yijun🥺, criticism is too hard to hear, that to in his age . If it was me , I would have cried 😭 even after being older than him. He held back on his tears for soo long.
He's very young...I really don't think this is right to do a child at this age. There's plenty of time to become accustomed to criticism in life. But it's important to build up their confidence for stability while they're still young. You did so well Yijun! There's a bright future for you :)
heyy I cried so much because of Yijun😭!! Such a good kid smiling in front of the guest and crying secretly behind the scene! His dad should have hugged him!
Oh my God. That was intense. Whoever thought to do hidden camera on a child’s cooking needs a week of without pay. Better yet, a week on a deserted island with Yijun so he has to look at that face. His little chef dreams were dashed.
Every one: oh yijun is soo sad. Me : what about the second group who criticised, especially the female . Think how much embarssment she faced when she knew she evaluted a child's dish and that she will be known all over for this . I died of second hand embarrassment If it was me I would have asked the team to blur my face , hats off to that lady 👏
exactly, she ate what she thought was done by someone from the restaurant. if she knew it was by a kid, she definitely would've appreciated the effort and everything
Exactly! I think one of the lady cast members was already mocking her in this episode and I felt so bad for her cause I could tell she was genuinely feeling embarrassed and sorry
I think it could have been handled better especially for Yujin’s sake!! He did his best and hope this helps him want to cook tasty meals and not give up. Fighting!!!!
This looks like it could hurt Yijun’s dreams and confidence in himself UNLESS it is followed up by the absolutely most supportive next steps, like being given loads of support and uplifting encouragement from his parents and important people in his life, being told he is loved regardless of how he performs and he is so so capable, teaching him how those tasters’ negative comments don’t have anything to do with his abilities and potential, showing him that this is all a part of life, that these experiences will help him be better and better, and giving him many chances for him to try more and succeed and gets lots of positive feedback.
Ugh not me tearing up with Yijun 🥺 he did so good! this was a great experience! But wish his dad comforted him and walked him through with encouragement even if the dish wasn’t well liked by the second couple!
Awwnn ottoke uri Yijun-ie!!!😭 Please know that not everyone can be pleased sweetie. You're doing so great!! He kept it together and tried not to cry poor sweetie
Lol not me tearing up with yijun.. must have been really hard for someone that young to receive criticism like that.. I hope it didn't affect his interest in cooking.. He's so strong for not showing tears in front of the guests.. YOU DID SO WELL BABY! DON'T CRY 🥺
Honestly, if I was a kid, i would prefer yijun's dish. I can't eat spicy food at all when I'm still a kid. I will wash the chicken, fish, meat, shrimp if it's covered with spiciness or redness. I'm an adult now and still can't eat spicy properly 😂 I'm so proud of him. He's still a child, but can cook properly, create a dish, know most of the food names, know his passion really well 😊 To the strangers who eat/try the foods, thank you for giving honest review about it. Hopefully it can help improving yijun and his father's dishes❤️
I personally feel that his dad could have stopped him from hearing it. I think testing receipe of 😭 yijun would have been better, if staff told one was made by kid chef and another by adult without revealing names. I understand his dad's policy to make yijun face reality but, people like me still have low self esteem due to harsh criticism at young age. We should be careful when evaluating child's emotions as it can create life long underconfidence.
Definitely agree. But I think yujin doesn't belong to the low self esteem group. That's why his father allowed criticism. if he was more of a tender kid then he wouldn't have allowed him to hear it. I mean obviously the parent knows better right?
I think it is abusive of the production to exploit a little kid’s failure for entertainment. The lesson was totally flawed from the outset. They put the customers and the kid in a bad position. These lessons are best kept off-camera. There is a fine line between cultivating humility and humiliation.
I like how the Dad does not baby his son so much... it helps the child to think logically. Unlike other parents who always consoles their kids that's why they end up as selfish brats.

these celebrity kids are so mature and exposed to the reality of life already but Im glad they're being comforted and aware

Yes. That was unfair. You can tell she was mortified. They were told to critique what they thought was a chef’s work.
@@alisonfraser3305soo true. I agree with you.

Yijun, u r amazing! Yijun's dad is awesome for giving his dad a great life lesson!

Me too . I thought he would do it
Yijun is so cute❤️
it's always great to see Yijun. such a big fan of him.
It's okay yijun you did your best! You'll do better in the future. Be proud of yourself okay?❤
I can't believe the show is almost ending, to be honest i relly like the aproach of yujins dad on parenting.
What do you mean the show is almost ending? There will not be more episodes?
seeing yijun like this, make me wish that fun-staurant will make special episode for kids :(
Yijun, I’m so proud of you. You did so well!

I hope it isn’t too sad for Yujin. I would have liked it Yujin. I don’t do really spicy either. You can cook for me.💖

@@Melarona23 yes I agree , what I wanted to convey was other parents should not blindly follow it
@@Melarona23 though he does not belong to that group , I don't think he will forget this bad memory so easily .
@@lakshmiswaroop2033 true. I wish there was a better way to transition to the adult world but there isn't an easy way.

Aww I love them! So cute!
Wow this looks perfect 👍🏻
handsome pair son and dad. beautiful family 💪
Yijun is crying 😢 I'm crying 😢 too 😭😭😭
Bro When I Saw Yijun Start Asking Why His Dish Taste Bad I Started Crying😭😭😭
I felt sad for yijun. Watching from the Phippines.
Omg finally😭🔥
I somehow felt related to Yujin crying here because of disappointment after trying his best. 🥺😭💔
i cried so badly when Yijun cried
Owwwww so cute
Whom to I choose between father and son 😂 I really ❤️them 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Actually, they end up as selfish brats when they are only given material goods and their emotional needs are neglected.
Thats some harsh parenting. And I would have never got that happy winning against my kid.
Inseong !!
that was a terrible idea! he's a child he's not ready for actual criticism yet!
they shouldn't have done that to him
poor yijunnn
