The fact that naeun knows Appa is leaving in four days and still pushes her brothers to have time with him while trying to make Appa feel happy and loved shows her big heart
Naeun understand everything now, she would miss jooho the most. And she also know jooho gonna leave again after 4 days. Why is this so sad. And she seems like she know jooho is kind of dissapointed jinwoo doesn't recognize him and keep telling jinwoo jooho is their appa. Best daughter ever.

Naeun is very intelligent. Realistically, we are all gun hoos. Just living in the moment since we are just kids. And not aware of our parent's jobs.
Naeun is a very loving child. She said in an older video that she likes her mother more than her father. So if she loves her father this much, imagine the huge amount of love she has for her mother. (The older video was when the dad as pretending to be Gunhoo speaking through a toy)

Gunhoo has always been a daddy’s boy. Remember when he used to cry because he could only see his daddy on FaceTime? Or when they were on the train and he cried because he didn’t know who was tying his hair but immediately stopped crying after realizing it was his dad and hugged him.

I feel bad for her. She should be able to enjoy her childhood freely. Not have her life recorded for the world to see. Her parents are exploiting her and her brothers. I see celebrity parents who blur out their young children's faces when on camera, to protect their identities. Those are good parents.
@@hsnrb9959 that doesn't mean that they are not good parents tho the way I see it they pretty much love their children. i think they just want the children growth recorded on cam. If you think they were exploiting their children, then i think thats something wrong. I watched this show for years now and i never thought of it that way. What i saw was just parents and children.. Please dont always look at it in a negative way. This is just my opinion anyways. Hope you have a good day.
@@hsnrb9959 calm the f down. They get recorded by the show like 2 times a month. That’s not much of a disruption to their normal life. And who doesn’t record their kids nowadays and flaunt them on social media? The only difference here is they’re famous that’s why you’re making a big deal out if it.
@@hsnrb9959 i guess you just started to watch them based on your comment. for your information, the reason why Jooho decided to be on TROS so that he would have more time with his kids. He’s busy with his football schedule and all so by participating in TROS, it kinda allow him to have excuses to be with his family. AND, just so you know Anna has requested for less filming time since last two years, so there are few weekends where you dont see Jooho’s family in TROS. And lastly, the money they made from featuring in TROS, all the ads and CFs are saved for the kids’ future, as clarified by Anna on her Instagram. fgs stop seeing everything in negative way, learn to read or sumn
a lot of people talks about how it must be painful for a parent if they went back home and their child dont recognize them, but im here crying coz it must be painful to know your children are hoping and waiting for you to come home every day and then leave again after a few days
I can only imagine how hurtful it feels for a parent especially a father to come back and his son not recognize him because he’s away for work to provide for the family.
I think in this case is more to fufill his dream/ambitions/etc (i didnt know who he was but the comments say soccer player)
@@belulopezchamba he is a professional soccer player. So although soccer has always been his ambition/dream, he is providing for his family from his paycheck as a soccer player.
Jinwoo is doing a normal thing babies do in psychology, when they felt abandoned by a parent, when the parents appears they act stand offish

@@mccn00 I think avoidance, but I think the basic trust that needs to be fulfilled by a parent such as biological needs, is sort of stunting due to Joo Hoo's absences.

@@jajachomel97 I think babies and kids understand everything/feelings/vibes. So even though they might not remember it when they grow up, at the time they experience something they know it - if it's positive or negative.

I remember my cousin, his mom works in the city and comes home every weekend, he always refuse to sleep in the same bed with her mom and always clings to his dad. After months it actually got better, they became close slowly and when her mom couldn’t take it anymore, she decided to resign even though her position was high in the company.
That moment between naeun and her appa makes me cry. I can feel the love of both daughter and father 😭💖
When I was a baby we visited our home country for one month without my dad. When I came back, I didn't recognize him 😭 I know I was a baby but it must have hurt a little bit for him, I'm sorry dad 😭😭😭😭😭

Yeah it’s not completely abnormal tho. Babies who are younger need to be with their parents most of the time to have a permanent impression of who they are. Leaving for a month may be too long and therefore cause the baby to grow distant from you.

When I was 9, my dad go to another country for more than 2 month, and he become slimmer, when he get back, I didn't go near him, because, he look different from usual 😂I was asking my sister, where is dad, that guy is too slim 😂
My dad usually can't come home after 6mos, then just stays for 2weeks and I would usually be afraid of him and hide behind my mom. He was mostly like a stranger to me until I was in 5thgrade and I think that mightve been sad for him but now I'm try to reach more because of all those times when I was young.

When I was a child my dad went to foreign countries for 2 weeks to a month quite regularly for his job. I was between 3 to 5 years old, and my mom told me I used to make him pay for the abandonment feeling of him not being there. So when he would come back I would be uninterested, stand offish. When he would call I wouldn't talk to him on the phone... Thankfully my father eventually stopped making these work trips as regularly and we've had a very close relationship ever since. So in the end I understand Jinwoo's reaction even more than Naeun and Geonhoo's. These kids have such big hearts, it's incredible to see them grow. I hope in the future they get to spend all the time they want with their dad. In the mean time it's good to see that they can enjoy the time they do have with him. :D
Eden is like my daughter when she was a kid. She loves her papa very much like Eden. Now my daughter is 25 years old. Love her papa so much. Eden will be like my daughter when she grows up.

Na Eun was me when I was a child or should I say even when I'm already in college when my dad is away because of his work. I always ask my mom when he will be home whenever I hear them have a conversation on the phone.
I'm sure others have seen this similarity but, while looking at the thumbnail I remembered the two children from the film Wolf Children, so cute!
apart from that, it makes me so happy to see their bond, I used to wish I was able to form that connection with my dad but sadly that never happened due to our different upbringings.

Being a military kid, I sympathize with them so much especially Naeun when she was sad that he came home late then he'd be leaving in a matter of days too, and before we started moving with my dad during his assignments up til I was three, my mom told me there were times where I'd have to recognize him all over again. We don't transfer all the time now, he's a colonel and I'm in college but it never gets easier...

It's bittersweet moments like these I think the parents really appreciate the show. It gives the fathers the opportunity to spend quality time with their kids and to record the memories because sometimes it can't helped when they're forced to choose living their dream career and their family. Jooho has to work but at the cost of seeing his family less.
I remember why most of the fathers choose to be on Return of Superman is because they're afraid of their kids forgetting Dad or ending up with a distant relationship like Jiyong and Seungjae.
I remember the Triplets Dad, Il Kook from time to time saying he wishes they didn't grow up so fast. In just a short amount of time they learned how to speak in full sentences and climbed over the baby gates. He was proud they were growing up healthily but it was bittersweet because he just wanted to spend more time with them as little kids since you can never turn time back.
Or the Twins Dad, Hwijae never wanting to be a distant father like his own dad. It's good to show that there _are_ fathers who genuinely want to be there for their kids. Kids need Mom but they need Dad too! As a child with an absent father, this show has been one of the greatest comforts to me.

I can understand how Naeun feels. I’m the eldest daughter and a daddy’s girl. Most of the time my dad wasn’t around. He’d stay for 1 or 2 nights and after that he will leave because of work then comes back after 4-5 days or more. It’s just sad that I got used to it and when I became an adult, I left home. I was okay with it. And now he’s in a better place. I miss him more everyday.
I actually did something like jinwoo when I was young 😆 my father left the country for sometime and i couldn't recognize him because he got tanned and i would hide behind the door from him i was probably jinwoo' s age or a bit older 😂
