Hey guys! I really appreciate the awesome feedback and support with this video, you guys are awesome!. I had to go out of town for a while.. looking to be back in a week or so. Just a lot going on right now. I hope you all are doing well and be safe on the road!
@MathewUnderwood Agreed about the stock tires being not great for gravel on the road situations. These stock tires hardly have any grooves/treads like my other bike's tires, so as soon as these reach their limit, I'm buying better grip tires with a lot more grooves. These are almost like racing tires with hardly any treads.
I've had mine for almost 3 months. Plenty of power when you need it, especially in the higher rpms. It is NOT a race bike. It looks aggressive, but that's all. The stability and handling are great and having previous back issues I feel no back pain riding this. The posture is absolutely perfect. My only complaint is the seat. It ok for about an hour of riding. But after that I feel like I am sitting on a 2x4. I see a new seat in my future. Loved your video. Keep them coming.
Hello. My rides have been mostly short so I have not experienced the seat hurting yet but I can imagine as it is a little on the firm side. It is awesome to hear other opinions, thank you for sharing! Ride safe and God bless!
From what you are saying, it is definitely your tires. Your bike, that bike, should not be doing that at all. It is a sport bike and those bikes are designed for curvy roads. You should also be able to widen your tire size a notch or two, both front and rear. There could be any number of issues with your tires, but it is your tires. Take it from a fairly good sport bike rider and get some fresh rubber that will keep you from low siding during a turn. Godspeed!
If you go wide open in second gear right away, the front end will come up on that 650. I wasn’t expecting it but it was awesome. Good luck with the channel! Find your niche audience and build from there and you will be blessed.
Yep I go 180 miles to 200 miles on a tank. 80% of my riding is highway 55-65 mph zones. It is a fun, good all around bike. Mines a '18 with the ABS system, in the plasma blue. It turns heads and people always compliment about the color and the bike. Oh, I run mid grade 89 octane and it seems to like it over the 87. Stay safe and keep enjoying yours as well 😁
@nashvillelewis-jones5666 I agree, I got 201 miles today on one tank, with about .2 gallons left to spare. Just varied average riding and freeway riding. I fill it up till it hits the filler and then stop, then work off that excess as I did with my Ninja 250Rs all those years. They suggest to not fill it that high up, but I get longer range that way and never had an issue. I think it's mostly for very hot conditions/weather over 100˚ F.

im trying to decide between this bike, the Yamaha R7, and the honda CBR500R. mostly concerned about comfort while wanting a "cool" looking sport bike. thanks for the review
Don’t get the cbr. They are nice but for the price the features and power are the worst. The best thing about the cbr will be the quality of the bike. If I were you I’d get a ninja 650, it’s what I have but was also contemplating the r7. If I could have found one I would have got one but if you want comfort go for the ninja. The r7 has a much more sporty feel. The seat is higher, the bars are more like super sport and the pegs are higher getting you in the leaned over position. The r7 has the best power and suspension out of the three but again isn’t the best for commuting but more of track stuff. You really can’t go wrong with the ninja it’s sporty looking, pretty comfortable and has enough power to have fun along with the best tech features out of the three.
Hey Man, thanks for your video. It's my first time on your channel but i already appreciate your mood and your style of videos. Keep going ! And I give you my best from Switzerland
Nice review of the bike. I have a 2016 version of the same bike. One observation I have for you is that It looks like you are staying in 2nd gear way to long. I can hear the engine begging to be shifted into 3rd gear at 32mph. You are probably used to the high rev sounds from your R6 but normally its better to slighty overdrive each gear for a less jerkey ride. A good rule of thumb is to match your gear to the current mph you are traveling at. For example, 3rd gear at 30, 4th gear at 40 and so on. This is for normal mellow riding . Of course if you want to have more fun you can disregard this rule of thumb and wind it up. Keep on being safe out there.
Hey bud, i appreciate the feedback, and yeah i am aware of this. It is just a matter of being bad at multitasking hahaha. I just forget while im talking. :)
Yeah to hear him complain mpg when his shifting is beginner level annoying to hear and watch. Ughh. With that kind of riding I saw, I say get a 150 cc moped and call it good. R6 former rider please.
Hey bud! I've got a setup video I believe. But I dont wanna waste your time :) yes it is a gopro hero 10 camera, and I use a cheap lavelier microphone that I got on amazon. The camera is mounted with a gopro media mod, allowing me to plug the lavelier in via 3.5mm audio jack. :) and the camera is mounted to the front of my helmet in the mouth area. It is a full helmet, sport bike style, to it has a solid mounting point in the mouth area.
Haha, not gonna lie, i miss the inline 4 cylinder. I sold it, it was getting old, had almost 40k miles on it. Got one of those canam ryker rallys and rode that for a couple years. Miss that too lol. I just change a lot. When i picked up this 650, i was just looking to be on 2 wheels again and to do it comfortably, this was the best option for that.

Well the 500r looks very nice too. I havent had the opportunity to ride one though. If you have the opportunity, throw your leg over both and see how they feel. All I can say is that the ninja 650 is a beautiful all around bike. :)
Nice going at 1000+ miles back then. And many more hopefully. I can bet the R6 was really fast with the speed boosts. While not as fast, for the 650 Ninja '21, if I am fully opened with the throttle on the freeway, this will push me slightly back against the back passenger seat rest if accelerating from slower to faster quickly. Fun bike!

Haha. That would be funny, but no.. I'm not the first owner. It is at 4k now and I have no idea how the previous owner treated it.
Been thinking of getting either a kawasaki ninja 650 or a kawasaki ninja zx-6r. 650 goes 131mph and the zx-6r goes like 167mph. Now I have a Dongfang rts 250cc motorcycle max speed is 75mph, I be going like 75 in a 35mph zone most the time. ☝🏾🤔
Yeah if you're looking for more of a thrill, the inline 4-cylinder motors are definitely the way to go. The 650 is more for comfort while still having the styling of a crotch rocket.
I’m your huge fan
can 650 use the side mirror of zx10r? planning to have that mods
I do not know.. but I imagine that there is always a way to make something like that work.
Damn homie, shift that pony.
I want a 650 man. It’s a great bike. I’m scared about how much imma pay in insurance though 😬
Hey bud, I dont know where you're at, but my insurance for the 650 is like $10/month
@@MathewUnderwood how much would it be in nj for a 17 year old
@@1chqnce it depends if you are financing or purchasing outright. If you own it, you can just take liability and it would be under 20/month. If you are financing, you will need full coverage and that will depend on your provider, probably 100+. But I am not completely sure about your area unfortunately. I only know for oregon haha.
Progressive got me at $25 a month for full coverage on a 24 ninja 650 and a 22 klr650….shop around!
I just got the 2024 kawasaki ninja 650cc I love it first big bike after some asian lady decided that take her daughter to school (already )late she did a U Turn on Pacific Coast Highway and smacked into her right passenger door. But I'm alive and on my new ninja ❤
Yes I like more content
Very split on this or a 400 for a beginner bike. Nice bike though
I subbed the channel bro , I'm in central Florida area .
Perhaps we can ride sometime.
Thanks brother! If I make it out there someday. I'm currently on the west coast.
I'm on about 850 miles on my 22
How do you like it? I haven't had a chance to experience the 22 yet.
@@MathewUnderwood not much different from my 17 except that it feels bigger because of the updated fairings.
Just crossed over 400 on my 22
@@nefariousfox4891 very nice. Hope you're enjoying it. I'm at 1200 now.
Keep it up
Thank you bud!
Good video. I will subscribe to help you get to your 1000, but Likes and Dislikes don't really matter anymore.
I appreciate it, thank you. Not really worried if I ever get there lol, just think would be cool. I am happy with the small community that is here. :)
I heard the shift at 9:40. Not a very experienced rider.
Hey :) Thanks for watching atleast 9:40 of it :D Ride safe buddy! :)

I mean if I am pushing 10 grand for a bike, I might as well just go all in and buy a 'Busa
At over 200 miles per tank you haven't been to the gas station once a month
We need you
I appreciate you! Thank!
528 sub 🤘
Thank yooou!!
You really ride the gears.
Eh not really?
You can put it in neutral
Yes, one could :)
1000 miles in 4 month? You never ride. I do 1000 a week even when I don't ride to work.
The 650 will run out from under you if you would get over 1/4 throttle.
Yesi🎉like
shift to upper gears bros.
Change gears!
White bikes rull
No keep going
MEDFORD
The one and only lol....
@@MathewUnderwoodlived there for 3 years before i started traveling for work. about to move back in a year and buy a house. definitely is chaotic out there but there’s something about it that just makes me want to come back
@@dylanmorrin9504 Not to break TOS on here. But the problem here is dr*gs. Unfortunately.. it is heartbreaking to see people throwing away their lives, but the worst part is that there are some people getting rich doing it to others. If that issue was cleared up, this place would be a little piece of paradise. :)
Sell me your white bike it's a beau🎉color
You wish! Haha I love it too much!
