Charnel House - Upon Summer's End

The first new Charnel House track in three years.
Withering foliage turns to fire before falling to brown earth. Once-warm breezes are cut sharply as the life cycle transitions toward its end. The oncoming darkness slowly creeps further, winning its battle against summer's light. The shadows hold whispers of the dark season to come...
Charnel House is an audio project from the Highbury Cemetery yard haunt. One decayed foot in the realm of dark ambient, the other in the haunting spirit of Halloween. I wanted to explore and create ambient soundtracks for yard haunts and haunted houses that would create a feeling of menace and unease, that would support horrifying visual scenery and add to the total fright experience of a ghastly Halloween haunt display.
