Charnel House - "The Call Of The Void" - Haunt Ambient

Standing at the shadowed precipice, the pulsing call beckons from deep within the darkness. The cold Autumn winds howl and brittle fallen leaves coil at your feet, pulling you ever further into the void…
Charnel House is a new audio project from the Highbury Cemetery yard haunt. One decayed foot in the grave of dark ambient, the other in the grave of the season of Halloween. I wanted to explore and create ambient soundtracks for yard haunts and haunted houses that would create a feeling of menace and unease, that would support horrifying visual scenery and add to the total fright experience of a ghastly Halloween haunt display.
This is the first track in a hopefully long and ever-expanding journey down the dark path of haunt ambient.
