Nice review, cheers for that. Nice to see it get tested with the fridges etc and solar input. been contemplating one of these for awhile and the Pro 3 could be it. Again epic review, cheers from New Zealand 🇳🇿
I had 2 Delta Pro 3 ( DP3 ) units running in parallel with their 50 AMP hub bridge. One of the units was defective and caused a tremendous power surge which fried my HVAC thermostat and ECU, coffee maker, Air Purifier, GFCI outlets, and over a dozen outlet surge protectors and damaged twp. 200 AMP breaker panels. The damages have run into the thousands. One electrician who inspected my system told me that one of his customers had a similar problem with his EF Ultra except that he didn't have the unit hooked up to the home. I like the EF Delta 2 Max batteries, but the EF DP3 and the 50 AMP bridge is dangerous.
Great review Ozzie . Thinking along the same lines as you. This product would be perfect for camping and down the creek where I live. Great stuff keep up the content. Hope for another rifle review. Cheers have good one .
A good question as I don’t have the extra batteries to try it, I would assume that they would have to default to whatever your charging source on the delta pro 3 is, so if that’s solar or ac I can’t see why it wouldn’t work?
@ozziereviews never assume. I bought s high end generators and extra battery thinking the same as you only to find out once it was delivered that the extra add on battery can only be charged vis solar and the solar blanket that is sold with the unit is no where near strong enough to charge the back up battery. After contacting the company they advised me I would need a second solar blanket to charge the battery as just one blanket would take over 24hrs to half charge the battery. We as consumers pay out a lot of money for plug and play convenience so the running of these items should be advertised. Thanks for your honest review on this product.
Depends what you’re running but from the review you can run the important items for many hours, add some top up from solar and you literally have days of supply
Great review thanks for taking the time to put this video together.
@@clinteastwood8222 no problem glad you liked it 👍

Thanks mate, yeah it really does make camping great with power to all your normal appliances. Will be back with more firearm reviews soon too
Can you connect two 220w portable solar panels to the delta pro 3 station for charging?
Yes there is a section in the manual that discusses how to connect more than one panel and the voltage requirements etc
Can the add on batteries be charged from a/c power points or only from solar panels?
AC

Can this power a whole house for 3 to 5 hours when there’s power outage?
