Does it shut down after parked as my garmin seems to leech power over a couple of days

Hi William, the Accessory socket on the vehicle we have it in switches off when the ignition goes off so it is drawing no power at all once parked. The camera has a SuperCapacitor which allows is to continue to run for a short while after to save the final file and shut down correctly.
If it were wired to a permanent live and the Parking / Motion detection active than it would continue to use a small amount of power once parked.

Can you go over how you access the videos via WiFi? I’ve always been concerned about how to access the videos if someone were to steal my vehicle.

Hi WiFi is used as the way for the camera to communicate with the App while you are near the camera, for downloading footage and changing settings.
It’s not a way to access the camera remotely.

Hi Rick, Vantrue sent us the Camera to try and keep. (Hence the product placement flag on the video)
We will be continuing to use it in my daughter's car that didn't have a dashcam previously.
We have a Nextbase 522GW and a Pruveeo F5 in our other vehicles (which you can see in our video review here ua-cam.com/video/JMI4aJLnUi4/v-deo.html) If either of these failed I would pick the Vanture over replacing them with the same models currently.
